I worked with Chris for the last 2 hours of my studio day at Crossroads yesterday and it was a great end to the day. Chris knew what he had in mind aswell as being happy to let me run a bit wild with some of the sets, we chatted a bit and laughed everytime Rich gave me a heart attack trying to restart the heaters!

He is very welcoming and I recommend shooting with him for an all round good experience:)

Chris got in touch with me in response to a casting I had placed for location shoots this side of lockdown. I was really excited to be back working, but also getting used to a “new norm” to be mindful and cautious during obvious quite an uncertain time. Chris was brilliant - he communicated very well and was very understanding and took care himself so that we could create lovely images with the restrictions of social distancing etc. One thing which was a positive from all this was that it made me work from my immediate area more and subsequently meet more awesome people right on my doorstep! :D And I can safely say that it was just AWESOME working with Chris.

The locations involved a mix or “urbexy” feel, plus nature in a vast woodland with streams and waterfalls. They were locations on my radar which meant that Chris was basically going in without any prior guess to what he may be met with in terms of the challenges etc. But I tell you what: he got completely stuck in and really hammered each “set” so to speak dealing with framing up the picture whilst this mad model kept moving, managing the changing light conditions (sometimes every two minutes) and not being afraid to scramble/climb or kneel in the water to get that cracking picture. :P He put his all into the shoot and really rocked it - kudos to Chris as he is a fab photographer with a great eye for location work. Many lovely images churned out in this session alright! :D

With it being an odd time with a slightly higher possibility of bumping into people/spectators, we did have to be on the more mindful side. The urbex site was a relatively quiet place, enabling us to work pretty un-disturbed and rattle the shots out to our hearts content with relaxed flow and prolific model-photographer rapports happening with ideas and suggestions. But the woodland was a bit more likely to be busy (post lockdown beauty spot attraction from everyone) and with paths all over the place: somewhere we just had to be mindful and respectful of spectators when shooting nudes etc. Chris was very appreciative of this and where we couldn’t do nude, we improvised with outfits and still got some gorgeous work! The whole vibe was about teamwork and working within the sites we had to the best of our ability, and Chris made this very effortless. :)

He is also a notably lovely person with a great enthusiastic nature; plus someone who shows courtesy and respect to the model at all times. I felt totally at ease working with him from the very start of our shoot... And we also managed to enjoy a good social crack/chat a lot which makes a shoot that bit more fun. :) He’s very easy to get along with and comes with professionalism/etiquette that leads me to recommend him with total faith.

Just finished a lovely shoot with Chris, what a great guy!! His pre comms were spot on and made me feel super comfortable throughout the whole shoot.

We shot lots of various fashion outfits with different backdrops. He's very kind and respectable. Would love to arrange another shoot sometime :)

I had my first shoot with Chris the last week, it was really good. He picks me up from my city and drop me to Morecambe. We had some shoots outdoors on the beach and arround the city. He is always asking if you need something or if you are alright.

I really would like to work again with him, he is really nice, kind and friendly. Also, before the shoot we spoke and I didn't feel boring.

Had an amazing shoot yesterday - It was the first time shooting with a horse and an unknown location. He had creative ideas and good direction and made me feel comfortable- I would highly recommend booking a shoot, especially if you are a new model and looking to build your portfolio.
