My name is Claire Hartley and I am an experienced hairstylist and make-up artist based in Herne Bay, Kent. I have been in the hair industry since 2001. Having completed a HND in Fashion Styling and Photography at the London College of Fashion I decided to further my love of fashion and train in Hairdressing.

I found the industry hugely creative and fast paced which I loved. I quickly progressed through my apprenticeship flaunting my newly honed skills on the salon floor. Over the course of the next 17 years I have worked internationally in a few, select salons. I have greatly enjoyed experiencing positions in some well known chain hairdressers as well as some very select boutique businesses. I have picked up many different techniques in all areas of hairdressing which have all contributed to the style I use today.

I have not only delivered quality cuts, colours and styling in unisex salons, but have also enjoyed time with a cut-throat razor in a high end barber's shop in Brisbane, Australia. The experience of working entirely in men’s hairdressing improved and sharpened up my barbering skills so I am very confident and proficient in both women’s and men’s hairdressing.

When I decided to set up a business myself, I trained in Makeup. These two skills work alongside each other which has enabled me to offer multiple services to all my clients. I now work creating beautiful up styles for weddings and photoshoots. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and love to make my clients look and feel fabulous!
