References for Ciara Emily

Yet another crazy shoot with Ciara, somehow they never quite go according to plan, with another duo shoot becoming a solo shoot for me. It was my first time playing The Joker, going for the purple suit and (a lot) of radioactive green hair paint. We made the most of having our MUA Amy (our second shoot together) as the shoot went on, smudging the makeup and adding cuts, bruises and even a blood capsule. It was a long day with a few hiccups but out of the chaos came possibly the coolest look I’ve ever done!

Ciara is a lovely, genuine person with a passion for the weird and wonderful. She makes a great team with Amy too - with lots of giggles guaranteed - absolutely the ones to work with if you want to do anything creative! And hopefully this isn’t the last time The Joker makes an appearance :D

I worked with Ciara for the first time a couple of days ago and I can’t but highly recommend her!

Pre comms were impeccable , we discussed locations, outfit and make up at length.

We agreed on a theme, but we also winged it on the day as I brought some extra props that we used.

Ciara has been very considerate and thoughtful throughout the shooting: She knows that I suffer from a chronic condition and she periodically checked that I was doing ok. We also took a few breaks and got to spend some time together after the shoot.

Ciara is an exceptionally talented photographer who brings a unique perspective to every project. With an eye for detail and a passion for storytelling. Her shots truly capture the essence of the moment, evoking emotion and intrigue.

This was my second shoot with Ciara.

The whole process was so relaxed and natural we found some quiet spots and just got on with it whilst having lots of fun along the way.

We managed to capture 2 different looks and ciara made use of every angle possible and location of where we was, she was amazing.

Was such a pleasure to work with Ciara again, this time she came to shoot from my apartment. Pre comms were good and she arrived on time. As always she was very friendly, polite and respectful of the space. We got through a lot of sets in a couple of hours and she made really good use of the space

Where do I start?! Ciara was super diligent to book the shoot on a day when location wouldn't be flooded enough to ruin the shoot! Really good communication throughout the planning of the shoot, sending moodboards, make up inspo & even arranged a MUA to help our ideas come to life. Ciara was very patient with me while life has been a bit hectic this week! (as it does) & was so bubbly, friendly & lots of fun to work with for the time we shot. Enjoyed working with Ciara a lot, & think we created some amazing images from what I saw today in BOC. Cannot wait to see the final results.

One of the things I appreciated most about working with Ciara is how much planning went into the details!

We not only set a theme and location in advance but also shared ideas around props, clothing and the details of makeup (for which Ciara had a make-up artists to work with us) ahead of shooting to ensure we'd get the most out of our plans.

Very creative on the day as well, constantly looking for different backdrops and removing and adding elements to create different moods & looks.

Glad to say we already got our next shoot booked in :)

I had a great shoot with Ciara for the first time yesterday. She was very easy to work with, friendly and shot some amazing images from what I have seen. I would definitely recommend working with Ciara and can't wait to shoot with her again very soon.

Pre-shoot comms were excellent, Ciara and I messaged a lot discussing outfit design, mood boards, and location.

On the day we met in a public space nearby the location, grabbed a coffee then set off to the location and started makeup. Ciara had brought a talented MUA with her to do some SFX as this was a intricate look. We all had a lot of fun chatting and getting to know each other and discussing the shoot and ideas.

It was incredibly easy to shoot with Ciara. We collaborated and came up with lots of dynamic poses easily and the shoot just flew by before we knew it (despite the cold weather!)

Overall a brilliant day and I look forward to another shoot in the future.

Would highly recommend shooting with Ciara!

So another shoot with Ciara this year, after a number of duo options fell through, we powered on with a solo devil horn inspired look with a lovely MUA on board for this one. It was a lot of fun being turned into a new creature and Ciara was happy to get her hands dirty with the painting too! I love creating weird and wondrful things and with a lovely person behind the camera, it just makes the experience a better one. Over the past year and a bit I have worked with her a number of times and seeing her confidence grow has been a wonderful journey to be a part of.

I can highly recommend her and I look forward to more crazy ideas coming soon!

The weather played its part and Ciara and I got to do a sunny bridal shoot along the river.

Ciara was good with her pre comms and on meeting her I knew that we were going to have a fun time together. Ciara is friendly and professional and the glimpses of the images captured looked like a fairytale. She has a good eye for detail and knew exactly how she wanted to incorporate the landscape into the shot.

I look forward to working with Ciara in the future.

Ciara had a cancellation so I had popped up and filled a spot. We have been talking for what seems like forever about getting together to shoot and now we have! And she did not disappoint. Ciara's pre coms were great, well thought out and very detailed to every prop almost being hand made by her. She was fabulously friendly and understanding when I was a slow mover in my heels.

Every move and pose she captured was a great one and will thought out. In short, she's brilliant!

Had such fun shooting with her and would recommend ciara to anyone and everyone! Can't wait to work with you again, next time I'll bring flats 😁

I will start by saying Ciara is an absolute gem to work with, genuine and clearly passionate about her work, which I know will take her a long way. She always seems to have a number of ideas on the go at any given time, yet makes time for them.

We had been chatting since our shoots last year and even though I adore a bunch of the images from them, we also connected over being in a vulnerable headspace in relation to our work at that time. I feel really grateful to be able to call her a friend, which I think shows how genuine she is.

As for this time around, we went with a duo shoot with the lovely - and energetic - BeckyL0. In the space of three hours, we covered 3 colour sets and an AI set (with lightsabers - yay!). Add this to the amazing quality of the images I am so impressed and really proud of this collaboration.

I had an amazing shoot with Ciara today. She approached me with a great idea of an underground station based fashion photoshoot. We also managed to find some other great locations around the city.

I had a great experience with Ciara, she is very professional, kind and all around a lovely person to be around. I'm blown away by the results of her photography and the shots are surely something I've been dreaming of having in my portfolio. Today was surely a great confidence boost for me thanks to Ciara. I absolutely can't wait to see the final results after edit!

It's clear she is very passionate about her craft and her enthusiasm and creativity is contagious! I wholeheartedly recommend Ciara.

Had an absolutely fantastic location shoot with Ciara.

This time we shot in Barbican, Central London and created some epic and strong images!

Ciara is a pleasure to work with and I’m 💯 sure this will not be my last time I shoot with her. She is a brilliant photographer with great ideas.
