I went on my 2nd shoot organized by Christian and I must say, he does strive to get things done properly and I noticed it's not an easy job to pull off. I felt great and most importantly, I learned a lot about interaction, both with models and photographers; he took his time to speak to everyone, showed us some great positions and snaps. I greatly recommend his workshops, this one was definitely a rare opportunity! Thank you!

I modelled at a vintage car and wedding themed shoot that Christian organised, the whole day was a great success, very well organised, great communication leading up to the shoot and I felt very comfortable turning up and knowing what was going on. So Christian and I finally shot together! Yaaay, it was well worth the wait :D

The original shoot was going to be two hours, then it was three, then it ended up being four-! In other words it was a great day that both of us enjoyed very much and the time seemed to just fly by!

We started off in my new pad, shooting some portraits and fashion and then headed out in the sunshine to explore the town- stumbling across something I should have looked at weeks ago- a stunning garden- right on my door step!! Christian paid to get in, treated me to a coffee and cookie and we took yet more stunning images and have a great time in the process.

All in all it was a fab shoot. Lots of fun had, relaxed but productive and I can't wait to see the images and work with Christian again one day. Thank you very much :)

I had a very enjoyable shoot with Christian on Platt Eyot Island. All pre shoot communicaton was thorough and incredibly helpful in ensuring I could prepare myself in the best way. Christian was kind enough to collect me from the station, ensure I was comfortable throughout the shoot , (it was pretty cold outside at the time when we were shooting), and he was very patient and clear in his explanations on what he was looking to work on during the shoot and how we might achieve it.

I had my 1st shoot at platt Eyot island ,both Chris and Shaun were great hosts they provided lots of help and guidance throughout the shoot. The island has so many great locations to create wonderful images. Looking forward to working at platt Eyot in the future.

I had my first shoot on this island with Peter(VisionsA). Christian welcomed me with a warm smile although I was late. Christian showed us several great spots to shoot at and also brilliant poses which worked well for each spot which was really kind and helpful. Christian has nice sense of humour and fun to be with. The island got very unique atmosphere and brilliant for the shoot.

I thoroughly enjoyed the shoot there and highly recommended. I also look for ward to working with Christian as a photographer and a model.

What an amazing couple of shoots with this guy!Christian had an idea of having myself as a model on a group day. It went fantastically, both AM outside with Shaun and PM inside in their "fixer upper" studio. Christian had a fab idea of recreating Flamenco dance, so I joined him again 1-1 at the studio just 4 days after the group shoot! Great photographer, clear passion and vision.

Will look forward to developing more sparks of imagination with him when we are both back from holidays. Thanks for making Platts Eyot my home away from home, and for introducing me to some fab people.

First time shooting wiht Christian. Was a nice and relaxed shoot and had enough space to explore my creativity with Rosie Xanthe. Got some cracking shots and a well organised event. Would recommend to anyone who wanted to shoot in a group setting.

I've been to Christian's group shoot as a quick fill-in, and I'm really glad I decided to go: the tone of the shoot was casual, relaxed, we changed locations at a steady pace, and both the model and photogs were happy with his organising skills. He even had patience for the slow shooter of the team (guess who) and allowed me to get involved and direct to my heart's content. Thank you, and I look forward to work on your island, Christian!

I attended a group shoot today co-organised by Christian and Rosie Xanthe.

All the pre comms were spot on and his attention to detail second to none. Glad to say he taught me a lot in a very short time something very much appreciated. The organisation of the shoot was very relaxed which gives credence to his skills.

Very much look forward to a visit on the island and working alongside him in the future. Highly recommended

I attended yet another group shoot run and organised by Christian , as always the day was great fun with a great new location and Rosie was a great model. I have worked with Christian loads of times now and we have a great laugh mostly at my expense , but I will keep on working with Christian until he tells me he's had enough of me.

Platts Eyot has sort of become a second home. To no surprise this is my third time in a very short period of time.

Christian, who is one of the organisers, puts everything into ensuring that not only everything goes smoothly, but also that it is perfectly organised, lends a helping hand whenever needed, offers advice and provides suggestions that you may not have thought of for any instance if you ever feel stuck, you name it! ...and a very talented photographer himself

A place to explore its many potentials that will leave you coming back for more every time.

Had a group shoot today at Platts Eyot Island Hampton!! EXCITING !! Christian picked me up from Hampton Station when I had arrived for the day which I thought was very kind so thank you! I enjoyed my time there today, it’s different and unique to your normal studio or location to shoot in which is great because I enjoy the more outside natural light shots and not only that there is so many different places to shoot that we didn't get to cover it all in six/seven hours so you have plenty of places to play around with inside and out! My favorite bit I have to say was the nice boat, the one we had in the morning (Christian will know the one!)

Christian and Shaun done a very good job in making me feel welcomed, also fed and watered. They were very good hosts and I hope to come back there sometime soon! Christian is such a great guy and I recommend the island and not only that his amazing photography! So take a peek when you get a chance. I'd like to thank everyone for today it was a great shoot day with some awesome creatives!

The Ghost

Although I have shot with Christian before, this was my first chance to work as part of a trio with him and a model, alternating between assisting and photographing.

I'm not sure what Helen made of our impromptu double act but more important than getting good images, a good time was had by all and he was a big part of that.

Christian is highly recommended by me.

Christian is such a welcoming host and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. I had so much fun and cannot wait to return in the future.

Christian, what can I say. We hadnt met before and I am only fairly competent on a location shoot. That is important to set the context for the next few lines. I had a 3 hour workshop there on Sunday. Nothing was too much trouble for Christian, from letting me in early and directing me on where I could explore prior to the shoot, to his ideas and expert instruction, his energy and enthusiasm was infectious, and I got the BEST output from that shoot I have ever had to date. I have already got a second session booked. You just cant go wrong, whether a seasoned pro or a beginner, you are covered, and you will get his easygoing and likeable nature for free! Bargain!

Christian Lewis and I ran our first group shoot on Platts Eyot island.

If I do say so myself, it was a huge success! We were completely sold out and all of our photographers were not only showed up but were amazing!

I really enjoyed working with Christian, he has a great personality and was very useful at making me laugh when photographers wanted a smiling picture. Comms are great with Christian and he's incredibly organised; I always felt like I knew what was going on thanks to him.

So glad we finally got to work together and looking forward to many more instances.

Christian is an enthusiastic and friendly man, I was showered with plenty of compliments and encouragement throughout our shoot on Platts Eyot Island where their studio is located (an island with a huge variety of natural and urban locations, I might add, very pretty!).

I thoroughly enjoyed working with him in the afternoon we were allocated together, he was fair with allowing other photographers to shoot and always on hand to help when needed. He is certainly recommended.
