I had a lovely shoot with Chris on Sunday. The shoot felt safe and covid-secure, and Chris was really friendly and made me feel comfortable. I was really happy with how my hair looked at the end and Chris gave me useful tips on how to style and maintain it afterwards. We've booked in another shoot for July and I'm looking forward to it!

Overture Makeup

I really enjoyed working for Chris, communication was excellent prior to shooting. Chris had prepared a large selection of makeup looks for inspiration on Pinterest. He also emailed me a call sheet with information and images of the model attached, this really helped me know what shades of foundation and contour to bring. I could also visualise looks better and this helped me in the planning stage. As a result the shoot had a clear direction.

Chris is an incredibly talented hairstylist, who is really full of creativity. Around the team I really felt at home and loved letting my creativity run wild on this unique shoot. Everyone was incredibly friendly and easy to work with, it was a combined effort and my ideas and input were more than welcome.

Food and drinks were also provided I was incredibly well looked after.

110% recommend truly excellent can't wait to work with him again.

The communication was very good. He planned every shoot in advance. He is a very precise, professional and very friendly. He was very organised in his home studio. Everthing have been very comfortable. He didn't think only for himself but for me aswell. In every shoot we did 2 great looks and he was good to help to decide which dress and shoes wear. I worked with Chris on a shoot yesterday at his home along with a photographer and Makeup artist. When Chris mentioned that my hair would be coloured blue, I was reluctant at first but then the colour and style started to grow on me. I was happy with the end result and the hair looks striking from the photos. Chris is clearly very talented and I would recommend if you are looking for variety for your portfolio.

I had a very warm welcome and Chris knew exactly what he was doing. The end results is edgy, sexy and graphic. I love it! Chris is a very talented hair stylist, with a wide experience. I had a photoshoot with Stephen Norris afterwards, and the photos turned out great. I've worked with Chris on a couple of shoots now. Both Chris and the photographer Stephen Norris were fantastic to work with, as were the models. They were all very friendly and happy to discuss different ideas and approaches for the looks. I designed two looks for each shoot, one that followed a brief and one that I had more creative freedom on. I had a lot of fun with the team and was very happy with the quality of the photos at the end. Would highly recommend.

I felt I learnt a lot from this shoot as its different from my usual work. I have a love for hair and make up so felt confident in his ability as I'm aware of hairdressing methods and it was a good cut which has served me well on my next shoots, had compliments.

Was looked after well, plenty of coffee and quiche. The photographer and make up artist made the day a complete success, we all worked well as a team. Cant wait for next haircut from Chris in Sept!

I have worked with Chris on two occasions now and have had a great time on both. He was very helpful to my makeup planning by sending some reference images of the 2 different models and had composed Pinterest boards with images to inspire me. He also gave me quite a bit of creative freedom with the designs which from a makeup artist point of view is absolutely amazing! His hairdressing skills are incredible and he makes it look effortless! Thoroughly enjoyed both of our shoots and I am looking forward to more in the new year. Highly recommended. :)

I had a great shoot with Chris last Sunday. Pre shoot communication was brilliant. He sent me some lovely reference material for his proposed look for the shoot which made my makeup planning before the shoot so easy.
