I've been a keen amateur photographer since I was inspired by a student teacher who introduced me to macro, landscape and urban photography whilst I was still at school.  I developed a passion for landscapes, architecture and wildlife photography with occasional forays into wedding pictures on a strictly amateur basis.  In recent years I've become more interested in photographing the human form and I've had the pleasure of working with a number of different models, ranging from brand new to highly experienced. I also like to draw, so I aim to bring an artist's eye to my work. I particularly like working outdoors, using natural light wherever possible.

Now I've retired, my photography has taken off and I can now legitimately describe myself as semi-professional. I've undertaken a number of paid commissions, including weddings, funerals and model shoots. I'm also becoming increasingly adept at using photoshop. My aim with this is not photo-manipulation but rather to enhance the natural beauty of the models I work with and also to create an artistic, atmospheric ambiance.

I still love to photograph for fun and to continue to develop my skills. I haven't sold any of my work with models and this isn't really my aim. However, anyone I work with on a TFP basis is more than welcome to copies of anything we shoot to include in their portfolios or indeed to sell if they wish to do so. I will provide the relevant consent on request. I would like to work with new models and to explore my own boundaries. I'm easy to get on with and I like to work as a team, using the creative input of models themselves - that way, I can continue to learn and improve. I have good references on other modelling sites and I'm also DBS checked.
