About me

I am a professional hobbyist going part-time semi and have been practicing photography seriously for around 4 years although still albeit with much to learn and grow, i am based in manchester and can travel as well as base shoots at my home studio

What i enjoy

I have always had a love for the human form , a certain appreciation for wanting to capture life in its natural form which is why my main forms of photography focus around a human subject whether it be portrait to cosplay 

what can you expect with me

A relaxed attitude and a smile , i see photoshoots as a fun way to grow and develop and to show the beauty of the subject , to display them to the world so to speak and not a monotonous serious process , whilst mentaining an air of professionalism there is still room for a relaxed atmosphere and a fun experience for all parties

What is my equipment

i currently use a sony A7Rii with mainly either a 35mm f2.0 prime or an 85mm f1.8 prime which i enjoy thanks to the great DOF controls it allows as well as a good bokeh to glue the viewers eyes to the main subject rather than the background

i also own a number of zoom lenses albeit they dont get much use me being a prime lover and a number of speedlites and softboxes, beauty dishes and reflectors to match

What is my favorite shooting style

i mainly like to take advantage of non-harsh natural lighting as a preferable light source during a shoot therefore outdoor shooting is a favorite of mine , aswell as being able to showcase the model you can get an air for the background , a admiration for the scenery and setting rather than a backdrop , although i do shoot indoors/studios i prefer when i can to get outside to mother nature
