Booked Studio Six for part of a combined location /studio shoot with Savra. But the weather turned against us, however Kathleen adjusted our booking at very short notice to give us a productive session at this great studio. Spacious changing area for models as well. After giving us a warm welcome and tea-a-plenty, Kathleen couldn't resist dropping her admin tasks to watch the astonishing multi-talented Savra at work. Which was great for me as I had an extra pair of hands adjusting lights and an extra pair of eyes assessing the pics. Thanks Kathleen - hope to see you again.

Studio six is spacious and very well-equipped. Kathleen is extremely professional, warm and welcoming. In short, I would certainly do repeat business and recommend Studio 6 to photographers and models alike.

I modelled at Studio Six for a group of photography students a few weeks ago.

It was a great day, the studio is very versatile with several different themed spaces within the main room, and we even used some spots outside in the car park area!

Kathleen was very friendly and made sure everyone was looked after and helped with the equipment as required.

Would definitely recommend and hope to shoot there again sometime :)

I've worked at Studio 6 on a number of occasions now, and each time I know something or someone will take me back there. The studio is always clean, fresh and tidy-you can really see it's taken care of by the wonderful Kathleen! It has ample amounts of free parking on site, and makes an easy journey just off the motorway. There are many props at hand, different backdrops to make use of and lighting equipment to suit your needs. The kitchen area is just big enough for a picnic lunch, and with complimentary tea and coffee on site what more can you wish for. The changing area for the model is suited for the size of the studio, and you have the option of staying private by utilising the dressing screen.

I am sure I will be visiting again soon.

My first shoot (and won't be my last) at Chelmsford Studio Six. The studio is spacious, well equipped and very photographer friendly. Kathleen (owner) is a delight and so welcoming. The studio has a great infinity cove and good range of lighting. In addition there are a couple of unique little sets - a fifties diner area, a portrait space, a graffiti wall, etc.

The model changing and dressing area is spacious and well laid out.

Add to this tea,coffee and bickies and you can understand why Chelmsford Studio Six is such a great venue.

Had a first shoot at StudioSix this weekend and very pleased indeed that I booked this nice space. The owner Kathleen was helpful, courteous and accommodating from initial enquiry through firm booking, to welcoming us all on arrival and checking in just as my shoot finished - friendly and professional. The studio itself is a great space with more sets than you could possibly, reasonably imagine inside. Add to that a great selection of flash heads and modifiers plus great MUA area and catering (professional levels of tea and biscuits!) - highly recommended and look forward to shooting there again in the not-too-distant :-)

Second shoot here at Studio Six and second time I've had a fantastic experience. Kathleen helped me set up and as always nothing was too much! So very helpful and a great place to hire considering all the props and all the layouts they have. You would be hard pressed to find a better more studio!

Toxic Innocence

I visited the studio twice with photographer Flashmann. It is a great interesting shooting space with a makeup/changing area with cool items for the model to wear during the shoot. Highly recommended.

I thought it was about time I posted a reference to the studio I have been using for the last couple of years so, what do I say, well....... It is the studio that I have used for 90% of my model shoots over the last two years, and I shall be doing so for the foreseeable future.

Kathleen, the new studio owner, always makes sure that there is tea, coffee, milk and biscuits available (models love this and so do I) and you can turn up with your camera and just start shooting.

They have lighting, softboxes, reflectors, triggers, backdrops and most important of all, an infinity curve!

Ample parking and within 10 minutes drive to Chelmsford, which has great bus and train services.
