Charlotte Bowman

Hi my name is Charlotte and I am a makeup artist based in London! 

I trained as an MUA at Somerset College of Arts and Technolgy on their Media Makeup degree course. I graduated in 2015 with a First Class Hons degree. Throughout my 3 years I have trained in:-Beauty Makeup

- Bridal

- Prosthetics

-Avant Guarde

-Body Painting

-Wig Making

-Theatre Makeup

-Basic Hair styling

Since I have finished my degree I have worked on photo shoots doing beauty make-ups, basic hairstyling, proms, event make-up and small prosthetics. I have a passion for what I do and love working with new like minded people. I am very relaxed and fun to work with! I will always aim to bring some form of sweet food as an excuse to feed my massive sweet tooth and to keep us going through a shoot!

I love getting involved in the shoot as well so if you ever need a hand holding a reflector or light or just carrying bags I am your girl! It also makes it easier for me to keep an eye on the hair and makeup and tweak if need be! 

As this is my full-time job my rate is currently £15ph + expenses. I will consider other offers so don't be afraid to ask, my response will be purely based on how I think the work will benefit my portfolio and experience. In terms of expenses, these would usually be travel costs, I have a car so this will most likely be fuel costs. However, if I travel over 150 miles, I may ask for accommodation which would also need to be paid for. Expenses could also include material costs dependant on the makeup look (prosthetics etc.) as these can get pricey.
