I responded to a casting for sunburn photography that sounded great fun and something different from the norm. Charlotte is an incredibly professional photographer and has a great personality. Excellent communication was given throughout, clear and detailed directions to the shoot was made available, along with a well prepared agenda for the day. Charlotte has a great sense of humour and was very easy to warm to, and knew exactly what she was after for the shot, giving concise direction. Charlotte was working in tow with a pleasantly bubbly and talented MUA whom was equally lovely to work with. Highly recommended, would absolutely work with again.

I had a wonderful shoot with Charlotte Barnes Photography a couple of weeks ago called 'Team Snow' and I have just received the finished images and I must say they are all superbly done. The images are on my profile to be looked at and you can see everybody's images throughout the sessions on Charlotte's page. I would highly recommend Charlotte who doesn't rush and is very particular within the work she wants to accomplish so look her up for your next shoot....10 out of 10!!!

I'd been in touch with Charlotte for a while before we actually met but when she offered me the opportunity to get involved in the personal project that she was planning to undertake based on a snow/'Fortitude' theme it sounded like a great opportunity to work together.

As such, having also been involved in the test shoot for the project (including having fake snow thrown at me...in a nice way) the main shoot itself went really smoothly and produced some fantastic results.

Charlotte is great to work with, knows exactly what she wants from a shoot, is totally professional and also makes a shoot great fun. Thoroughly recommended! :)

I had a really fantastic session today with Charlotte who was doing a fitness magazine shoot using my gym and martial arts centre. Not sure where the hours went but we had a great time doing fitness, gritty boxing/fighting and fashion aspects with full lighting. Looking forward to seeing the results!

Dean has to be one of my favourite photographers for several reasons.

Solid knowledge of lighting, my bright eyes and dark skin pose challenges for many but Charlotte was up to that challenge.

Extremely patient, I was very late, the latest I have ever been for a shoot, Charlotte patiently waited for.

Her focus is the comfort of the model or models so Charlotte will constantly check in to make sure the model is happy and things flow naturally which breeds a great shoot. This made by of us feel relaxed.

Very easy to get along with helps everyone in involved. Funny, chatty, happy.

Gives great direction but is also open to hearing your ideas as a model and takes it into consideration.

Hopefully we will work together again.

Had the opportunity to work with Charlotte on a fun commercial style shoot, creating a 'fake ad' for a fictional headphone company with a colourful pop art-esque theme. There was great communication up to the shoot itself, she was very clear with what she wanted to achieve and was very professional and efficient with her planning and direction. Unfortunately on the day of the shoot we had a bit of flaky model syndrome, Charlotte however kept her cool and swiftly got to arranging a replacement. By the end of the day we had shot four makeup looks, ate lots of biscuits and had lots of fun in the process! I will definitely be looking to work with Charlotte again in the future, it was a pleasure!

I can't recommend Charlotte enough. It was such fun shooting with her. She made our family feel completely at ease and relaxed and remained nothing but professional and creative throughout the shoot. We're so happy with our images, Charlotte definitely knows her stuff!

We had a little last minute shoot with Charlotte and my friend, Cat Lady Lelia at Charlotte`s studio quite recently.

Charlotte was very friendly and professional in her approach throughout the shoot. She gives fantastic guidance and is a lady that knows exactly what she wants to achieve in the images she creates and how to do it.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Charlotte and our shoot was the perfect mix of being fun, relaxed and a good laugh whilst still being productive and professional.

I had the pleasure to shoot with Charlotte in her studio with my friend Llamandra. We had been planning to shoot for quite a while, and finally we had a chance to do so - we did a test shoot which turned out to be a great fun and overall enjoyable experience.

During the shoot not only Charlotte was very professional, she was also lots of fun to hang out with. She knows exactly what she's doing with camera and lights, and knows how to bring her ideas to life. Her tips on posing and angles were also very helpful and I saw my face in a whole new light in the finished photos.

We received the photos shortly after the shoot and they are amazing! Would definitely recommend Charlotte to other models.

Shot with Charlotte the other day for a makeup test shoot. Had such a great time! She definitely knows what she's doing, and it was great to see her knowledge and expertise play out, definitely shows in the photos. She gave clear instructions, was very friendly, and so easy going and fun to work with. Communications and directions before and during the shoot were fantastic. It was an absolute pleasure and privilege. Definitely recommend, and can't wait to see the final photos!

I worked with photographer Charlotte on an recent beauty photo shoot at her own studio. Charlotte has been such a lovely person to work with. She's very organised and professional at work although she was always kind, considerate and willing to help out in any way she can. Charlotte always kept me up to date with the arrangements of the shoot and sent me in advance all the details of the shoot and a very detailed map and directions of exactly how to get to her studio. Very thorough about this which was a big help to me.

Once at the shoot Charlotte was very laid back and let me have as much time as I needed to do the models make up and did not put any pressure on me or the model at all.

Charlotte was very good at helping the model with posing and gave good direction.

Her photography is amazing and we produced some very high quality photos which I'm over the moon with.

Could not say a bad word about this woman she's the real deal and I can't rate her highly enough. Definitely don't miss out on a chance to work with Charlotte or you will regret it.

I was shooting with Charlotte yesterday and from the beginning I was sure she is a real professional.

A day before shoot I received a very detailed information about the shoot and location in PDF.

As I'm a person with terrible sense of orientation the enclosed directions of the studio was so clear that I had no problem to find it.

Charlotte arrived on time and her bubbly character made me in ease straight away.

I was very surprised by the studio that was excellently equipped. I shot quite a few times but I'm sure I've never seen more professional equipment.

She exactly knew what she was doing. Not like other photographers doing 800 pictures, she did shots exactly how she wanted it. She caught the moment she wanted.

In my opinion, Charlotte is a big professional with kind heart and talent, and down-to-earth and this is exactly what you need in this field!

I was privileged to work with this lady! And would definitely love to shoot with Charlotte again.

I met charlotte in london,and i was on my own and she was friendly and full of ideas we got to work straight away with doing make up then shooting she had some great ideas through the lens.

I reccomend charlotte as shes up for anything with fashion,or something a little edgy and shes not scared full of confidence and was very helpful with getting me back and how to via from london to milton keynes.
