References for Celia

Had a location shoot with Celia in response to her casting call. Despite the somewhat iffy weather this summer we managed to find some interesting locations and get some good atmospheric shots which I was pleased with. Celia is friendly and accommodating and had some good ideas for poses and where to shoot from and is recommended.

Had a great shoot today with this lovely young lady, we had laugh & got some amazing images she worked without direction needed, but when prompted did what was asked with ease, lovely calm & pleasant manor, pre shoot comms were excellent, turned up on time infact early. I would definitely recommend her to anyone & will be working with her again at some point.. thanks Celia..

I came across Celia's portfolio when browsing and I was immediately excited by what I saw - and had to shoot with her.

So we arranged to shoot at my home and in the woods at the bottom of the garden.

It has been said that Celia is not your standard model - and she isn't.

It has been said that she is wonderful and different and that she has an inner stillness. And she is and she has.

I was worried I would not be able to capture her essence and as I have yet to edit the images we will have to see. But if I haven't, it is totally due to my incompetence. I got so excited when she just moved and gave me what I had in my mind.

I have great difficulty finding models that I think I can shoot with and to find such a model is satisfying and exciting and...... great!

There is no question that we are going to shoot again - when she has finished laughing at me and I have done justice to the images we made.

You really must shoot with Celia. She is relaxed, impervious to mud and cold and so different and intriguing.

Celia stepped in at very short notice to help fill a late cancellation in a Birmingham studio. I was fortunate in finding such a replacement and grateful to Celia for giving up time on her birthday.

It's always great to work with someone who has a unique look. Celia is tall and slim with a calm presence in front of the camera (derived in part no doubt from her experience as a life model) and although I haven't edited the images yet, I can tell there are some quirky atmospheric images amongst them.

She's not your standard model.

And Celia is wonderful. Different, in lots of good ways. A contemporary hippy, maybe? She brings an intense gaze and beautiful eyes - and a stillness in her posing that is really welcome, as it's possible ot ask for (and get) small and precise adjustments in poses, which helps a lot with highly directional light.

Her life modelling experience means that she resisted the cold really well - we shot some fashion and even a few nudes in the garden.

Thoughtful and with excellent conversation, and sharing my belief that tea and chocolate biscuits are the foundation of any good shoot.

I look forward to working with Celia again later in the year.

Smart, fun lady and really easy to work with - very cool images from this shoot!

Celia is also impervious to the cold ;)

Celia came to one of our Photo Society model nights as one of 3 models. We had 3 studio set ups going and Celia spent the evening between the 2 set ups with continuous lighting. Our members had "open access" to these set ups as opposed to the studio flash which were controlled by need to have one of the two triggers. The evening started with expectation that 3-4 photographers would be active at any one time but there were often more. Celia managed this very well with confidence even though some of our newer members are inexperienced and haven't learnt yet to chat and communicate with the model! Celia seems more suited to a "gritty" modern style of posing and I imagine would be very good on location/street style portraits.

I worked with Celia for the first time today, Celia is a great model to work with on time and fully prepared.

Another great shoot with a great model..

Being a life model also, Celia held perfect poses, with little direction.

Funny, and full of enthusiasm for her art and to create perfect images. The time went too fast as per usual.

I got to shoot with Celia again only 3 days after our first shoot, as she kindly filled in for me when I had a late cancellation.

This shoot was every bit as good as the first one, we had fun and captured some great images, what more can anyone ask?

I'll definitely be working with Celia again, I can't recommend her highly enough!

I had my first shoot with Celia recently and she was an absolute delight to work with.

Celia is a very beautiful model, with a great "natural look", who is able to pose effortlessly without direction, but also works well with the photographer to get that perfect shot.

She is easy to talk to, and the shoot was relaxed and fun from start to finish.

Pre-shoot comms were great and Celia turned up on time and ready to shoot.

I can't recommend her highly enough, and I'll definitely be trying to arrange another shoot with her soon!

Laid back, relaxed and artistic, Celia was a joy to shoot with. Happy to listen to my ideas and suggestions as well as come up with her own.

I had some equipment that I'd not used before and Celia was very patient with me while I played around with it!

Zoom Out

I had a fantastic shoot with Celia on Friday. Pre communications were perfect, clothing and make up matched the ideas in the mood board I'd sent, and she even had her hair cut the day before in preparation! I was really impressed with Celia's confidence in front of the camera. She was at ease from the start, and remained so when we moved on to some art nude shots later in the shoot. This meant she was very easy to work with, and also open minded, encouraging and patient to any strange idea I came up with. We tried a broad range of styles, ending in glitter madness by the end! She needs very little direction and has the perfect figure for art nude work.

Can't wait to get these shots edited, and also to work with Celia again. It was a really fun and productive shoot. Highly recommended!

Had my first photoshoot with Celia yesterday and she is great to work with. She arrived on time, actually early. She was enthusiastic and worked well with everyone on our studio workshop. Celia worked very hard getting the pose just right to create an image someone had in mind.

I look forward to working with Celia again soon.

Despite being relatively new to modelling Celia poses freely and confidently and has a natural elegance in front of the camera, and is great to work with. She has a very striking and unique look that translates very well to pictures. Highly recommended!
