Both times that I've worked with Malc I have thoroughly enjoyed myself. He is so good at envisioning a story behind each photo and that has helped me to pose with such ease. I always feel his passion for photography and I respect it highly. Definitely want to work with him again.

Malcolm is always a pleasure to work with and a familiar face at the group shoots. This time, however, he was not alone and even brought his daughter along with him to model alongside the rest of us. His work continued to be top quality and given that his daughter was a first timer for the group shoot, it was clear she'd been given a professional education from Malcolm. I always recommend Malcolm and I don't see that changing any time soon.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting Malc for a workshop in our home studio, focusing on fine tuning followed by Affinity Photo editing afterwards.

His pre shoot communications were excellent, well thought out and properly communicated with me. He was clear and consice in what he was hoping to achieve and arrived on time (despite a 3.5 hour drive!). Upon arrival we had a coffee and a chat about what the day would entail, all of which Malc was happy to launch into. We adjusted as the day progressed as the natural flow of shooting took us from one place to another. Before we knew it the shoot was over and John & Malc sat down to edit a portrait together, and my oh my, was it stunning!!

Malcolm is polite, professional and friendly, which really helped the shoot flow seamlessly. We all had a great laugh and got along like old friends. His back of camera shots got better and better as the day progressed and we're really excited to see the final edits.

Yesterday was my first encounter with Malc and what a joy it was. He contacted Team Black for a workshop on fine tuning and editing tuition and from his initial message onwards his communications with me were outstanding.

He was a real gentleman throughout the shoot and we all got along so well, Malc is a real joy to work with. I felt comfortable in Malc's presence from the beginning and then throughout.

Malcolm paid attention to what we were saying throughout, not hesitating to ask questions when he felt it necessary.

His back of camera shots were superb and I look forward to seeing the final edits!

If highly recommend Malc, and look forward to the chance to again.

Malcolm attended a 5 hour tuition with myself and Angel recently, focusing on fine tuning and editing. The time flew by and we gelled from the start, really understanding each other and getting along well. Malc explained what he wanted to achieve well, which we worked on over the course of the 4 hour shoot with Angel, and then we turned our attention to the edit on Affinity Photo. He was attentive throughout the course and asked any necessary questions.

He was polite and professional throughout and made Angel feel comfortable.

Malcolm has been a regular face at the gaff shoots and always someone I gravitate towards to for collaboration. He is vocal in what needs to be done for the shot without it being a demand and he is quick to capture what everyone is looking for. He's a strong social presence as well and his edits are often quite timely in arrival as well. You can feel the experience when with him. Highly recommend.

Last minute shoot went super smoothly we shot at Fareham studio and managed to fit in numerous different lighting set ups and outfit changes

I love the images we created. I was treated to a delicious carvery afterwards 🤤 and picked up and dropped off from the station

I had worked with Malcolm again recently at a group shoot we were both invited to. It was great to shoot with him again, even if it was a very quick shoot towards the end. I loved not only the edits but the behind the scenes photos too.

As always, you can hear Malcolm before you see him. He's the one giving lots of encouragement and praise to his model, and ready to greet you with a friendly smile.

I've always felt 1000% comfortable with Malcolm who is such a gent, I will continue to recommend him to all, but particularly to any newer models who want to shoot with someone who will reassure them, encourage them and generally be a cheerleader for them.

It was lovely to meet and work with malc at a group shoot, although our time working directly together was limited it was lovely to see the energy he brings to the shoot, he's polite and respectful and is able to help create a story behind the image being captured, which as a beginner really helps without it being too director based, it's very natural emotions, while being extremely patient, communication on shoot and post has been great with previews already so he really is working quickly. Anything else I have to say is already echoed many times in previous references. It would be a great experience to work with malc again.

Well, I got my very first ever FPI with Malcolm, so that tells you all you need to know about his photography skills! We sadly hadn't shot since then as Malcolm took a bit of a break which is a shame because he's so good at what he does and I love shooting with him! So ... When he turned up at the same group shoot as me I was so pleased! Malcolm is still very much a breath of fresh air and will guarantee you feel confident from start to finish. Images were returned very quickly after the shoot too.

Just don't believe him when he says "one more shot" because he's lying, it's 5 more ;)

Today was my first time meeting Malcolm and we instantly hit it off. As the only male model at the group shot, my shoots were pretty limited initially to supporting roles with the ladies or a particularly fun blood session, and then Malcolm made a point of getting me shoots with all the other models. What I particularly like about his style is that his direction is clear but also quick. The sets were completed very quickly so that models could continue with their current shoot or enjoy a well earned break. Everyone was super comfortable with him and he was great for conversation between work too. I definitely recommend and would actually love to work with him again.

I had my second shoot yesterday with Malc after he applied to my casting. He came to my hotel room where I was staying. Although room wasn't the biggest Malc took time to take in on what would work best for me. He brought some new gadgets to try out which was different. Aa we shot Malc chatted away and remained professional throughout our shoot. He has a good eye for detail i.e removing objects which is a sign of a good photographer in my books.

Although I posed freely Malc gave a little direction that I was happy to do. Malc showed me what he captured on back of camera and i loved what i saw. Im looking forward to seeing them once edited. All in all a very pleasant and enjoyable shoot and hopefully in near future there'll be a third. Definitely a recommendation to new and experienced models.

A long awaited shoot with Malcolm at Fareham Studio and it was a brilliant way to spend a Sunday!

The pre comms and mood board were definitely food for thought and one I knew I could bring the styling for.

Always so courteous and encouraging , we had a blast trying out new lenses, new scenery and bringing ideas to life.

I think third times meeting with Malcolm, I had breve shoot with him . He’s a very nice person and professional photographer. I would like to have more time shooting with him as he’s a very good director for the models and has an eye for detail. He takes his photography to the next level which I really like and enjoy. The models he works with are looked stunning with a very dramatic costume and headwear. Very tasteful shoots indeed . I would recommend him to all models who want nice images and want to promote their modelling.
