I had such an enjoyable shoot with Rick today...despite the cold toes :-) Communication before the shoot was great and the shoot itself was really relaxed and fun. He is very easy to work with, professional and able to give direction when required but also just let me 'do my thing'. I got that nice buzz of creativity that happens when things go well :-) and if my old bones last a bit longer as a model I would certainly work with him again! I had my first shoot with Rick while my mini tour up in Aberdeen last week.

Rick is a fantastic guy. We had a very fun and energetic shoot with lots of laughs (and flour wich I am stoll finding on everything... EVERYTHING!!!) Rick is very creative and isn't scared to get messy. I can't wait to see the final images and work with Rick again very soon!!

Super creative photographer! I shot with Rick on my mini tour up in Aberdeen and Shetland. He had a really interesting idea that was so much fun to shoot be it a bit messy.

Rick saved us from the Shetland ferry with bacon rolls and multiple cups of coffee. He was extremely fun to work with and I hope I can work with him again soon. 100% recommend to anyone.

I worked with Rick for a couple of hours during my studio day at Studio- Dee last weekend.

He booked the first slot of the day and we had a great time- working our way through loads of different ideas.

Rick worked with me on two workshops when I was up in Scotland in August. Unfortunately my reference is a bit late as I went off gallivanting for my wedding and honeymoon and so I'm only just catching up on references for the work I did on the lead up to it - slaps own hand!

The first being on the Saturday evening where we shot outside at beach location in very cold conditions and the second being the next day on a film noir workshop. On both occasions Rick made a great addition to the group and fit in very well. It was lovely getting to meet/work with him and I'm hoping that next time I will be able to shoot on a 1-2-1 basis :)

Studio-Dee

Rick attended a recent workshop we ran at the studio and was the stand out participant who was not afraid to experiment and made the best use of the shooting opportunity and the instruction on offer.

He also stayed after the workshop and worked with the model on a 1 to 1 basis putting all he had learnt into practise while putting his own unique twist on the shoot. He produced some stunning images that were probably helped by the rapport he immediately established with the model, so much so she persuaded him to keep shooting even after Rick had declared he had enough images for his needs, something I have not seen before.

Rick is a gentleman and although he claims to be a novice when shooting with models he has produced some exciting images.

We would welcome him back at any time and would recommend him to anyone looking for a special shoot.

Rick attended an Introduction to Art Nude workshop I was tutoring at Studio Dee with Miss Rose. Despite suffering with the mother of all hangovers from a wedding the night before, he was really keen to make the most of the workshop and was willing to experiment with plenty of ideas. Rick was a great guy to have on the workshop and I'd have no hesitation in recommending him to any models looking for a creative, relaxed and entertaining shoot.

I worked with Rick on a workshop run by Photoclassic at Studio Dee this weekend. He was polite and friendly throughout, always willing to have a go and try something new! We also had some one-to-one time after the workshop and covered a whole variety of styles and sets. Rick was really easy to work with, his friendly attitude made me feel at ease throughout and I’d happily recommend him to others!
