Thank-you for visiting my little space on PurplePort. I am a digital artist and conceptual photographer living in West Dorset.

 

Please note... I produce artwork, tutorials and resources but don't offer any editing/retouching services. I am on PurplePort to find and book models for my work and content, not to get editing clients.

 

I provide photoshop courses (including my own) with model images that people can use in their art. The majority of my bookings on here are to that aim. So you will need to be okay with this! I ask for a model release to be signed and can happily send you a copy prior to the shoot.

 

I book models so that captured images result in artwork, tutorials and course material. I am not a hobbyist, this is my work. That said, a shoot with me is not all serious. I like to work in a relaxed, creative and fun way. Models who work with me tend to really enjoy the experience and I think my references reflect this.

 

My commissioned work includes webinars, content and tutorials for companies such as Corel, AutoFX, Sebastian Michaels and Shift Art.

 

My work has been featured in a number of publications worldwide, including Photoshop Creative, Digital Photographer, Digital Studio and Dark Beauty.

 

Before I moved to Dorset I spent 10 years working in neuropsychological research based in London. Learning about how the brain works and the different ways people see the world has been a lasting interest for me. I like to think that it influences my work. Digital art has a wonderful ability to alter our senses and perception. In my work I like to represent the surreal and the off-kilter image and transform it into a story. 

 

My ultimate aim in my work is to make people think beyond what they see. Art is a subjective enigma but should be challenged in it's expression.
