When Carolina and I arranged our shoot a few days ago the forecast was for a dry day but then, this being Wales, the forecast changed and I was prepared for a genuine cancellation as late as the morning of the shoot. But no cancellation came and Carolina turned up at the meeting place in her first outfit and with hair and make immaculately done. Being a MUA and hair stylist herself certainly has its advantages!

We managed the first two outfits in dry weather with Carolina posing freely but as we got to the end of the second outfit the rain started. A lot of models would have brought the shoot to an end at that point and I would not have criticised Carolina for doing the same. But she changed into her white trouser suit and red heels and posed for an hour in pouring rain!

Nothing was too much trouble for her, despite the awful conditions and despite her being soaked to the skin by the end. I did get some amazing wet look images without that ever being planned and I am very grateful to Carolina for continuing with the shoot in those conditions. She even maintained that wonderful smile of hers!

Conversation flowed freely all day and I thoroughly enjoyed myself and ended up with a bucketful of great fashion images. Carolina is a very busy young woman and her MUA work takes priority over her modelling but I do hope that we get an opportunity to work together again at some point.
