Another fabulous shoot with John, my warm friend and an absolutely fabulous person! Since I came to Uk, he has always supported me a lot, and here he is again, cheering me up and creating great memories!

This time we returned to the stunning mansion Carlton Towers. John picked me up from my house and drove to the location. He brought so many great outfits with him and had a lot of amazing ideas that I was very excited to bring to life! Our shoot was very relaxed and fun. I could use all his accessories to change looks, he chose a lot of great locations, and set up the perfect lighting! We didn't rush and had some time for tea, lunch, and warm chatting. But also, we managed to bring to life all his fantastic ideas! In the end of the shoot, he was so kind to send me all the photos that look absolutely stunning! 🥰 Thank you so much, John, for this fabulous, magical day in a dreamy castle! It's amazing to feel like a princess and create these stunning images with you! I really appreciate your kindness and support and look forward to seeing you again!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

I have now lost count of the times we have had the absolute pleasure of hosting John here at Basford Hurst Cottage, and what a pleasure it is!! John came back with Beth and stayed with us for two nights. All pre comms were great and John and Beth arrived as expected with everything they needed for the two days.

We would consider John (and Beth) as friends now and we thoroughly enjoy their company. We had great chats over wine and pizza, and throughout their time here they were both incredibly respectful of our location and looked after everything at all times.

We cannot reccomend John highly enough and we look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thank you so much for coming back to see us!! :D

I had my first shoot today with John and what can I say?......What an experience!! Could not have wished to welcome a nicer man to shoot with me at home!!

From the moment he walked through the door (even after having a nightmare getting here) we just hit it off immediately!! A wonderful soul, so warm and friendly, the conversation flew as did the time!!

It is exactly shoots with photographers like John that remind me of why I chose this profession, to meet new and amazing people with brilliant and creative ideas!! As introductions go I couldn't have hoped for a better one!!

Which brings me onto the next reason why I implore anyone to work with John... and jump at the opportunity should it arise to create with him... he is a wonderful photographer!!

Testament to this is that even with his equipment seemingly wanting him to not take a single photo - he persevered and took some amazing captures that we both absolutely loved!!

He is a true talent, a special person and is a credit to the photography profession!!

I know he will be on the long drive home after the shoot as I finish typing this,

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Another visit to Basford Hurst Cottage from the wonderful John who brought Beth back to the studio!! John and Beth travelled up the night before to stay over and kept us updated with their ETA the whole time.

We aren't allowed to have favourites.. but if we did, John would absolutely be one of them!! He is kind, polite and full of charisma!! We would of course reccomend him to any other models and studio owners and look forward to welcoming him back next year!! Thank you so much for coming to see us again John!!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

John contacted me back in April to ask if he could come to Basford for a couple of days to shoot with a model called Beth Marie and stay overnight. Having met John I was thrilled he had asked and of course wasted no time getting the booking in the diary!!

John is just a bundle of fun and energy!!! All pre comms were great an everything was thoroughly well organised. From the moment he arrived to the moment he left I don't think I stopped smiling!! We spent one of the evenings chatting over pizza and a bottle of red and I couldn't have asked for a better house guest!!

During their time here John and Beth created many incredible images - They were always respectful of our location and made sure to ask if they needed anything. John is polite, friendly and an absolute joy to be around. I would highly highly recommend him and really look forward to seeing him at Basford again soon!! Thank you so much John!!

Catchlight Pics Studio

It was a pleasure to have John back in the studio, this time with Model Beth Marie.

John is a kind, helpful, and friendly person who is a talented photographer and great with models.

He always shows respect towards the studio and its equipment.

I was sooo happy to shoot with John again in an amazing studio Basford Cottage! We had a lot of different shoots with John and he always manage to find some new unusual places, that i am very exited to visit! Also he has so much of great ideas and beautiful outfits! And he always give me to improvise and bring my own ideas! Oh, i can tell sooo much about how great are our shoots and how happy i am always to work with John. He is so polite, friendly and intresting person. We always have a great chat and all shoot goes so easy and fun! John always picks me from my home a drives back, he always has some drinks for me and bag with amazing outfits. He never rush, and always give me time to see all intresting things on the new location! Also John is really great photographer! He knows how to work with light and always send me the photos, that are really great!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

John came back to Basford yesterday on a group shoot organised by Ian (MShootPhoto).

John is an absolute pleasure to host!!! Having met him a couple of times now he never fails to put a smile on my face!!! He worked well with all the other photographers and models that were there and made sure to be respectful of the location throughout his time with us.

John is welcome back to Basford anytime and I really hope to see him again soon!! As always, highly recommended from us!!

I was so pleased to work with John again recently when he booked onto my model event at Dracup’s cottage in Bridgnorth.

It was John’s second visit to the location; there is so much potential at the property, we ran out of time to get through everything last time we shot there.

It was a truly lovely shoot, it’s so comfortable and fun working with John. We probably end up chatting as much as we actually shoot, but we still manage to come away with exceptional images. The ones John took in the mural room, using the natural window light, in particular are absolutely stunning!

John was also kind enough to bring along a dvd for me of a film that we’d discussed on a prior shoot. It was such a kind gesture, and one I very much appreciate.

Needless to say, I’ll forever recommend John to everyone and I look forward to working with him again in the future. Thanks so much John ❤️

John attended a lighting workshop run by myself and John Duder at Basford Hurst Cottage.

Pre comms with John were great!! He arrived on time and keen to get shooting!!

John was so much fun to shoot with!! He's a wonderful photographer with loads of ideas!! He listened to John where required and made sure to put into practice what he was learning. The back of camera looked amazing and I am really excited to see the edited images!!!

I had the absolute pleasure of working with John again last week when he booked a slot on my week-long event at an amazing cottage location in Bridgnorth.

John is such lovely company, and it was so nice to catch up with him! We focused on one room in the cottage and captured some absolutely stunning natural light images!

John is immeasurably kind and a couple of days after the shoot he gifted me a book we’d discussed on the day! I was really touched by the gesture and am enjoying reading it ❤️

I had an absolutely lovely shoot with John last week!

From start to finish everything went really well! John and I had met and worked together briefly before but this was our first one to one shoot. John made things very clear and easy for me to prepare for by giving me great communication before the shoot.

John was great to work with,he is such an upbeat and positive character which made the day go very well,he provided good feedback throughout the day which helped me. I thoroughly enjoyed this shoot all because of John’s terrific attitude and laid back approach to shooting. From what I saw from the back of the camera,we created a variation of beauty shots!

I really hope to work with John again and I would definitely recommend shooting with him.

I had another wonderful shoot with John last week when he booked a slot on my photography event at a beautiful Air BnB in Bridgnorth.

I love working with John! Shoots with him are always very relaxed and fun. The comfort of his models is imperative to him and he always makes sure I’m well fed and watered, normally with my favourite custard doughnuts and a nice cup of coffee. John is very easy to talk to and it’s always lovely to catch up with him, even if it’s only been a couple of weeks since I saw him last.

John is also a wonderful photographer and I always love his images. We shot some lovely posh frocks together and the back of cams looked amazing!

I’d recommend John to other models 100% and I hope to work with him again soon. Thanks for another lovely shoot John! ❤️

I always love working with John so I was so pleased when he booked me for a shoot last weekend. Our original location sadly fell through but John found a new location, Catchlight Pics Studio, and, after a quick change of plan re. Styling and outfits, we went ahead regardless.

John is wonderful company and is a joy to work with. He is easy to talk to and shoots with him are relaxed and a lot of fun. He’s also very kind, and the comfort of his models is his top priority.

I’m a nervous driver and John offered to pick me up and drive me to the location, even though it was out of his way, and he already had a long journey ahead of him from Llandudno. This is something I’m incredibly grateful for as it made the shoot doable for me.

John is also a fabulous photographer, and the images from the day are stunning. He’s kindly asked if I want to choose a few to be edited and I’m enjoying myself immensely making my selections.

I’d recommend John to other models wholeheartedly and without reservation and I’m looking forward to working with him again next week! Thanks so much John 😊

From the moment John messaged me first, I knew our shoot at Carlton Towers was going to be great. The online conversations before the shoot were professional and to the point, but at the same time very relaxed, so discussing the concept was an easy, fun, collaborative process. On the day of the shoot, John picked me up on time, had everything prepared in terms of gear/costume/props, etc., and also provided some refreshments, which was very kind. I had a great time at the shoot, it felt very relaxed, John was a great conversationalist, he directed me very well and also allowed my creative input. And this resulted in some fantastic images. Relaxed, calm and such a lovely experience.

We shot at a disused school, and it was an absolutely amazing location to shoot at. The hours flew by with a small break and lots of conversation.

I always enjoy my shoots with John, he is one of my favourite photographers, I can't praise him enough as there aren't enough words to describe how amazing John is. This was my 5th shoot with John,and of course it went brilliantly 👏 I appreciate John travels a lot and we managed to shoot in different towns a couple of times. John turns the shoot into a nice time spending but he always makes sure the photos look amazing ,so we used to use a lot of different looks and probs. I can say this shoot was a special one ,I am grateful John for all time he spent to shooting with me. I feel we are a good friends now, and have a great selection of the best shots from each of the shoots.

What a lovely, down to earth, great guy!

The original plan of the shoot fell through, but that was no issue as a dance studio was booked instead!

Communication was fantastic all the way through.

The hours flew by too fast and outfits were brought for me to use too! Thoughtful and caring, conversation flowed and a heater was there to make sure I wasn't too cold.

Cannot recommend Carlos Bob highly enough!

Dates have just been confirmed for our second shoot and I'm just as excited.
