References for Carla Monaco

Met and worked with Carla at her home for the first time yesterday. Carla is an absolutely stunning model, full of personality, grace and ability. Worked for 4 hours indoors and outdoors using a large variety of settings and Carla posed in a great number of ways in each location bringing out some beautiful nuances. Each location offered immense scope for working with natural light and Carla, through her experience helped me to make the most of each setting. Carla has a wonderful and warm personality and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her during our shoot. Needless to say I'd love to work together again and suggest that Carla should be at the top of any photographers list of PTWW.

Today I had my second shoot with Carla at her home in the Cotswolds as a long awaited follow up from a 1 hour shoot at Upper Mills Studios. The preshoot communication was excellent and Carla sent through a map to ensure I arrived at the right place. I had a number of shots/sets I wanted to work on and Carla was fantastic in being able to bring her experince and skill to the all the sets. She has a wide range of fashion garments and can add her thoughts to the shoot. Carla is truely a great professional model and it would be difficult to get a bad shot. Shooting with Carla was hugely interesting and she was really patient during lens changes etc. To say I was delighted with the shoot would be and understatement and I highly recommend Carla and I look forward to a future shoot.

Had another fantastic shoot with Carla last Saturday (on a one light masterclass with Adrian Crook. - Also highly recommended).

Carla is such a versatile model - able to work in so many different genres. But not just able to work in them - she can excel in them.

I almost feel guilty working with Carla - She does her job so well it makes our photographers' job far too easy.

Proof of the pudding - I've already booked two more shoots with her.

I had a fantastic time with Carla shooting at a wonderful location in London, in an event organised by Jean Fernand and tutored by Faye and Trevor Yerbury. She was everything you want a model to be: beautiful, engaging, beautiful, accommodating, patient; oh, and did I say 'beautiful'? She was on my list of models I'd like to work with and fully justified that. I look forward immensely to working with her again when my other work schedule permits. She is a gem.

Carla was a delight to work with. We went to Amsterdam to shoot art nudes in front of or next to well-known monuments.and buildings. Carla was instrumental in getting some amazing pictures. Quite a few people who see them think she was Photoshopped in, but no : this brave lady was really there. She made thjs a very memorable shoot and I hope we can do something similar in another city in the not too distant future. Carla is a great model. Very professional and incredibly nice on top of that. What more can a photographer ask for? I'm looking forward to working with her again.

Had my second experience of working with Carla at the group shoot organised by John Gannon at the weekend. Each time I work with Carla I think she can't possibly get any better, but she does. An Eye for Beauty

Why have I taken so long to arrange a second shoot with Carla? Well it won't be so long next time! I had 4 hours at her home and garden today, and we spent the whole time using natural light inside and then went outdoors; rather different from my usual. Carla is such a lovely girl in every way - a superb model, natural, and so easy to work with. I now look forward to editing lots of lovely pictures and reliving a delightful day. If you haven't worked with Carla, don't delay!

My second shoot with Carla and after a brief exchange of messages sorted out a 1/2 day at her home. She is a lovely Lady to work with and is happy to suggest ideas and we found some lovely rural locations to shoot in. I would recommend Carla very highly and look forward to working with her again. Yesterday I had the pleasure of a half day shoot with Carla at her home. I had wanted a shoot with her for a long time and it was well worth the wait, Carla is pure quality. As well as shooting around the house we also managed to spend some time outside, Carla braving the strong wind and dashing back inside during the frequent showers. I really enjoyed my shoot with Carla, I rate her very highly and one of the best models I have ever worked with.

I have worked with Carla a number of time before and she is always the perfect professional model. For this shoot I adopted my 3 shoot concept which made for an enjoyable time as we buzzed from 1 interesting location to the next taking 3 different images to explore the potential of each location before moving the the next. This allowed us to keep the creative level very high just before a break for lunch.

This was my first shoot with Carla, and I would be very happy to shoot with her again, she was friendly, helpful and graceful, and came up with many good suggestions, and was brave enough to put up with some damp and uncomfortable surfaces!

I can't say enough nice things about Carla, I had the opportunity to shoot with her on Saturday morning as part of Pauls studio Wales weekend. It was rather daunting to be shooting with a model of the quality of Carla especially as it was only my second shoot and the first in a non-workshop guided environment. I shouldn't have worried as she was a total dream to work with, utterly professional, throwing effortless poses which went with the theme and background and helpful with suggestions, she made a newbies day and gave me a real confidence boost for the rest of the weekend.

We shot some fashion which reminded me of Audrey Hepburn in a lovely black dress which went with a hat and sunglasses one of the other members of our group had brought along, then we did some art nude in the gardens with a kind of woodland nymph theme.

Carla was a joy to work with, I got some great pictures, too many good ones that it's making pruning them down tough plus she's got a gorgeous smile which gets out now and again.

I'd love to work with her again and see what ideas we can come up with.
