Lovely to shoot with Dave again! A nice, relaxed shoot with some brilliant results and of course a delicious cake!! Dave is respectful and easy to work with, and I can really talk all day with him!! We had a great shoot at MAP and Dave was happy for me to look at the images as we went, and to give input too. Overall, a fab shoot. Highly recommended and look forward to working with him again. Had my first shoot with Dave today which I thoroughly enjoyed. I had a lovely location picked out just perfect for an autumn fashion shoot. Pre comms were brilliant before the shoot and the day flowed with plenty of ideas to shoot with, time just flew by! Dave is a very down to earth gentleman to work who I would definitely recommend working with to anyone. Full of ideas and gives direction very well.

I had a great time shooting with Dave over a week in sunny Spain for a Photofinca trip. He's a delight to both work with and socialise with.

We worked on everything from fashion to art nude, in various locations, both in groups and one a one to one. He was polite, friendly and relaxed through and knew exactly the style of shots he wanted to achieve, coming up with great ideas and results.

I'd definitely recommend Dave to others and take the chance to shoot with him again, either in sunny Spain or the rainy UK.

Photography Holidays

Dave got in contact asking about my trip to the Algarve, After a number of questions Dave said he would like to come along. So glad he did and what a great guy he is. Right from the start he fit in with everyone, even the models started to call him 'family'! It was great to see this as he gave the models trust in him and even myself. He shot in various locations with us every day and produced some amazing images, I'm sure all models are more than happy with the results! All I can say is after us spending a week together I can now say Dave is not only a great photographer but a true friend too. If any model would like to work with Dave don't hold back it will be worth your while. Hope to see him return next year

I have worked with Dave a couple of times now and each time has been so enjoyable. The time just seems to vanish… The second shoot together was with myself and Bonnie Bellotti at Barlow Studios in Chesterfield. He brought his beautiful motorbike along and myself and Bonnie strutted our stuff from fashion to Lingerie and ended up of course climbing all over the bike making some funky and sexy shapes :-D Working with Dave is always super relaxed allowing for some relaxed poses and expressions and they came out brilliantly. Dave is also amazing at baking! He made a delicious gluten free cake which didn’t last very long haha. Great fun to work with, a good laugh and a pleasure to work with at all times. Thanks again Dave. X

Summers Abroad

Dave joined us on our Summers Abroad trip to Portugal this year and it was a real pleasure hosting him :)

I had worked with Dave abroad previously so knew he would get on well with everyone. He’s so friendly, super laid back and is always happy to just go with the flow so he is always a great addition to any group :D

He has already expressed interest in joining us on a trip next year so hopefully we’ll have the pleasure of hosting him again then :)

Weeee, Dave and I finally met/shot together - double, no - treble hurray! :D We had been in communication for quite a while beforehand saying how shooting together needs to happen soon; one way or another... Then it all did! On a fun-filled event hosted by Summers Abroad in September, we had a whale of a time in sunny Portugal making pretty pictures across different themes and locations. What a fabulous long-awaited introduction it was!

Dave is the nicest, most relaxed and chilled out photographer you could work with. He is really easy going and the like-minded flow of shooting just falls into place effortlessly. We had designated shooting slots relative to concepts and locations over the 3 days that we worked together and Dave got stuck into every opportunity creating lovely images which flattered the models and brought out the stunning places in which we were working. He has a great eye for model photography... And certainly shooting in hot, sunny places like the Algarve still bears it's own hurdles to jump in order to capture a photograph in it's best form! Sure it might be the perfect temperature for we models to work in the pool/in the sea but from the photography side there are still the usual tests to overcome for the photographers, be it strong sun or getting the angles as the models do their thing/clamber about the place on rocks and so forth. Well Dave had literally no trouble at all taking it all in his stride and producing some cracking material whilst having a ball at the same time. :)

In the downtime, it was always a good giggle! Dave is really sociable and friendly as a person so it wasn't only good vibes during the shooting time as a result but also when the group was chilling out. That's always a nice plus on events like this because everyone feels like kind of like a family that way. It was good to mingle and chatter about all-sorts over the mealtimes etc. but the only problem is - it just goes too blooming fast when you're having such a ball! The time really did whizz by, but so many awesome memories made along the way and during the time I had working with the lovely Dave for the first time.

He is a very humble and professionally courteous gent, both personally and as a photographer. I enjoyed his company on the event and had positively bouncing vibes working together. Hence it doesn't even need questioning - I would recommend him to the moon and back! Thank you ever so much Dave for this lovely introduction, and here's to working together again in the future! You're a star!

Lovely shoot with Dave yesterday. He booked on for 3 hours to shoot with myself and Amie Boulton (solo and duo) at Map studio.

The weather was great so we Used the opportunity to get outside.....and of corse we used the bike!

Very fun easy going guy who had some great ideas and was very comfortable to be around. The time went quickly and he seemed to be happy with the images. Would definatly recommend!

I had the pleasure of working with the very lovely Dave at Map studios on Sunday. What a great guy! I travelled up for a few days with Tatiana and Dave booked 3 hours, an hour solo with each and an hours duo. It flew by!! But they say time does when you're having fun! I even got the opportunity to model on his bike...a first for me and i liked it that i could bring something different. We went for an edgy look. What a blast! I thoroughly enjoyed shooting with Dave, he is very down to earth and respectful and it was a pleasure to model for him :-)

100% recommended by me and i look forward to another shoot at a later date

Had an awesome second shoot with Dave. We met up in the morning and went for a breakfast together at a hotel. Then we all travelled to the studio, which Is actually a swimming pool.... fun! Its always fun and laid back with Dave, if you want a coffe or break, just shout and he is happy for you to do so. Its all about good images and having fun. Plus playing in a pool isn't exactly "work" ... so if you get the chance to shoot with him, I would for sure .... thanks a lot, Bobbi

I had the pleasure of working with Dave recently for the first time doing a duo with the beauty KateC at a studio day at Barlow photographic studio, Chesterfield I was hosting.

Our time went so quickly and it was such a fun shoot. Dave brought along his motor bike as a prop and he brought some delicious carrot cake that he even made himself. It was great working alongside Kate and getting to pose with Dave's bike as it's my first time doing that so I really enjoyed it.

Dave was so friendly and is a complete professional, he arrived on time, with a lot of energy, really enthusiastic about our shoot and we had some great conversation. He is such a relaxed, caring guy and a fantastic photographer, he took some amazing images and I really enjoyed his cake.

We did not need any direction but Dave is so experienced that if he did see something he wanted to capture he was not shy in saying so. Dave was very respectful and was making sure we were happy enough during shooting which is very considerate.

I look forward to next time and highly recommend Dave to all creatives. Do not miss a shoot with Dave if the opportunity arises. A very friendly, professional photographer, a really nice guy and you will have a really fun shoot.

Had a great shoot wit Dave. We met up at mcdonalds for breakfast and travelled to the studio together. We where working in an indoor swimming pool which was mint! we got on well strait away and show some really great images. I had lot of fun on the shoot, really relaxed atmosphere. I had another amazing shoot with Dave & the very beautiful Kasia, who I shoot with regularly, at Bodyline Studio. Dave is quite simply the best! One of my favourite photographers by far. Dave’s shoots are always great fun. He has a very relaxed yet totally professional style. He has great ideas & is a fun, cool guy to be around.

This was my third shoot with Dave & I really hope we shoot again soon. Not only did we have a fabulous fun shoot but he also produced some amazing images. Not forgetting the cake!! Dave made us THE MOST AMAZING cheesecake EVER! Such a pleasure to work with Dave, he is an awesome photographer, fabulous baker & great fun. Highly recommended, thank you Dave. I have been shooting for around 8 years now & Dave is definitely in my top 3 photographers to work with.
