After an unfortunate cancellation here at Basford Hurst Cottage, Ken asked if I would be interested to shoot with him and we quickly got a booking in the diary!! Me and Ken have spoken about a shoot a few times so it was lovely to make it happen!!

Ken arrived on time with everything he needed for the shoot. We spoke about a few ideas and started with some low key lighting, followed by some natural light in the windows, as well as some bodyscapes. Ken is clearly very knowledgeable about lighting and spent a long time making small adjustments to really get the best images!!

Ken is polite and friendly to have around. I would happily reccomend him and look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thank you Ken, I look forward to seeing the final edited images!!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Ken came to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with Rebecca Tunn at her two day event.

It was a pleasure to meet Ken and welcome him to Basford. He arrived on time with everything he needed for his time here. After a quick look around he began shooting with Rebecca. He worked hard to create many amazing images and was always respectful.

During his time with us he made sure to respect our location and was happy to ask if he needed anything. Ken is polite, friendly and I would have no hesitation to recommend him. Thank you Ken!!

Had a lovely shoot with Ken today at greengate studios. I found ken to be really approachable and attentive towards the shoot . He was very relaxed and easy to work with and lit the rooms at green gate perfectly!

Ken booked me for two hours, he’s very friendly, funny and professional!

We got to chat which is nice because I get to know you rather than just shoot shoot shoot and the images I think come out better cause your more relaxed!

It was lovely to meet you, thank you for having me and I really do hope I get to work with you again as I loved shooting with you!

Ken came to my home to do a shoot with me this weekend and luckily, we caught the last of the Indian Summer so were able to shoot outdoors in my hippie / boho themed garden, yay!

He came super prepared with flash guns & kit, but we didn't really need it and produced beautiful results largely using natural light, diffused by fabrics :)

Ken loves to chat, and so do I(!) so I'd like to think we build up a good rapport, which always helps produce engaging photographs where models / people are involved. He is humorous and so down to earth.. he travelled a long way, for which I am super grateful, and glad he got to explore some of the surrounding towns afterwards too during his stay.

It would be an absolute pleasure to work with him again; the photos I saw on the back of the camera look really lovely :)

Ken is easy to talk to and work with during the shoot, Ken had some really good ideas that further inspired me for posing so the time went by really quickly!

Had my first shoot with Ken at the Pit studio. He arrived on time, pre-shoot comms was on point and he was very easy to get on with. We worked through clothed to art nude and he was very professional the entire time and an absolute pleasure to work with.
