Retro Rob

Well what can I say? except I have had the most amazing weekend on a Retro Rob Tour of Fareham Studios working with my best friends Nick (Canonphoto) and Andy (Fareham Studios).

I knew this was going to be one of those shoots that goes beyond the image and into the realms of a film set which is were we like to take the viewer and once again these guys delivered above and beyond.

The scene was once again set and after a coffee and the three of us all ready to roll I unveiled my latest character to my Retro Rob Tour.

Nick and Andy once again worked their socks off to create not only the mood I wanted but the lighting and feel to match each and every shot.

I was blown away with the results and even now still can't believe that these guys got exactly what I wanted but even better!

Working with Nick is a dream the word work doesn't even match the description to be honest because it isn't work it's a total pleasure.

If you have a concept or dream look you want to try or add to your portfolio look no further he will make it happen!

I can't wait to release the images to my portfolio as this particular character has always been a dream of mine growing up so to get to this age and be able to create it is pure genius!

Thank you Nick I truly mean that.

Our journey will continue I am already working on new concepts :-{)

Nick attended my group shoot at Fareham yesterday and he was an absolute joy to work with. He is super laid back and friendly which instantly made me feel at ease with him. Once again, loved working with Nick (Canonphoto). he is always a pleasure to work with and a very skilled photographer. Our shoots are always full of banter and light-hearted chit chat which I love! We worked together on a group shoot yesterday at Fareham Studios and got some really amazing shots out of 3 different lighting set ups. Will definitely be working with Nick again in future! I had an amazing third shoot with Nick on my studio day at Inspires two days ago.

We have done so many different sets in just two hours, and we both are really happy with the pictures we made!

It is so fun and enjoyable to work with Nick, he is giving excellent detailed directions to get the perfect images!

I am always feeling myself so comfortable and relaxed around him!

I can't recommend Nick enough, and I am looking forward to another great shoot with him soon.

Nick booked onto a group shoot ran by Rin at Fareham studio and I was so happy to have him there as soon as I met him. What a wonderful sense of humour and an incredible person to have as part of a group shoot, Nick made sure to adjust things as he wanted for a different shot to others and was a real joy to work with!

He made sure to show me the back of the camera, and his presence helped make the shoot fly by with his wonderful approach, he was even kind enough to share his own modelling knowledge with me which I was enthralled to hear, and truly added to the shooting experience. He’s genuinely pretty damn good from the photo I saw, I was very impressed.

I would highly recommend him to any models wanting to be shot by him, can’t wait to see the results and I really hope I get to work with him in the future!

I cannot express how much I enjoy working with Nick, he is just a photographer-shaped ray of sunshine! He is professional, friendly, enthusiastic and just makes the whole experience so much fun. I absolutely love working with this guy!

What a fantastic weekend I have had with the one and only Canonphoto! on my second Retro Rob Tour this year in the windy and rainy town of Fareham.

But who cares when you have a brew at hand and a warm indoors and a brilliant collaborative mind to create what can only be described as photographic art!

When you click with someone who not only caputueres the magic but delivers it too you know you are blessed and that is Nick!

I am still buzzing from the weekend and the stunning images we created but I think when you see them you will see why.

If you haven't worked with Nick yet I recommend you do as he certainly will add that something extra to your portfolio .

Thank you so much my dear friend looking forward to adding some iconic images to my Port.

I first worked with Nick four years ago, it was a pleasure to work together for a second time. Nick booked two hours on my studio day at Inspire Studios and came with some great ideas. We shot mostly ballet themed images and Nick used interesting and good lighting which meant the images looked great!

Nick is a really nice person, easy to be around and is courteous at all times.

Highly recommended and I hope we can work together for a third time this year!

Nick, where do I start!

I was lucky enough to have Nick book onto my studio day at Inspire Studios LTD. We had 2 hours together but we could have shot for much longer as we had so many ideas!

Nick bought with him a variety of hats and head pieces, all with a very Art Deco theme which I loved. We shot a mixture of fashion and portrait work together.

I absolutely loved the images on the back of the camera, and really cannot wait to see the finished results.

Nick is very polite, professional, humorous & friendly. I would absolutely recommend to other models. :-)

There just isn't enough hours in a day to work with this amazing guy!

This time back to the awesome Fareham Studios to do some promo shots for me and Oh wow! just when you think mmmm what shall we try? that collaboration magic weaves it's spell and Bam! the magic begins!

I've met Nick many times at the Fareham Studio group shoots, so it was lovely to finally stand in front of his camera myself! Nick is always bursting with enthusiasm, keen to learn and has a great eye for composition and colour. We shot a variety of Old Hollywood-inspired images, including a duo with Retro Rob, and Nick was a pleasure from start to finish. I would happily recommend him to anyone and look forward to modelling for him again in the future.

Yesterday was another fabulous group shoot at Fareham Studio where Nick and I had the chance to shoot together again!

Nick is a great guy, loads of fun to shoot with. He's easy to get along with, gives great feedback which just helps to create this dynamic flow where great images are produced. Nick was also kind enough to drop me off at the station and made sure I made it on the train safely.

I had an awesome first shoot with Nick at Fareham Studio’s group shoot night.

He was very kind and patient with me while I was trying to make crazy shapes 😅 and from what I saw on the back of the camera, we got some great shots together!

What a fab, fun shoot! I had a brilliant time working with Nick at Fareham Studio. He's lighthearted and friendly, but managed to get some cracking shots in-between cracking me up. He had some great ideas and conveyed them very well, feeding back what he had in mind, how he was composing me, and giving direction that was easy to understand (despite a wind machine blowing!).

An absolute joy to shoot with, and I very much hope to have the opportunity to do so again. Highly recommended, and I look forward to the next time!
