My lovely friend Iris chose to use this image as her profile image on Facebook yesterday with the Ukrainian flag. I, like so many will be feeling a deep sadness now at what is happening through the world of a crazed mad man. War is a male thing, pathetic, sad wee men with no endearing qualities. I seek solace in the calm behind my camera and hope that peace will once again bring the world together. After all we have been through in the last two years and now we find ourselves feeling helpless and in pain at what is happening close to home.
