I recently had the privilege to work with the amazing Calamity on the island of Lanzarote. On the lead up to the shoot, her comms were excellent; messages on PP, textchat on Whatsapp and then a phonecall, where we were able to discuss our requirements and ideas. She is very upbeat and positive on the phone and it was a joy to speak to her.

On the day of travel unfortunately, she had her bag and passport stolen on the way to the airport. I started to get a hint there was something wrong when I didn’t receive her “sitting in plane” message and that was confirmed when she was not in the airport. Shortly after picking up the hire car I got messages explaining and apologising for what had happened.

Even though Calamity was obviously very upset by the ordeal but after managing to get her passport back from the police (but not her other belongings), she indicated that she still wanted to come. Fortunately I was able to get her onto another flight and she arrived only about 28 hours late.

Calamity is REALLY impressive in person. She was in heels and towered over me and I am 5’11”. Her legs are really long even considering her height and this means that she can get away with poses that other models cannot (without making them look short in the leg). Her make up is always flawless. She lost her wigs in the theft, but totally rocked the one I had bought her for one theme we had previously agreed on.

She is full of posing ideas and is full of energy. She clearly adores modelling and is extremely good at it. She made friends with the other models almost immediately and was happy to share a twin model room and enjoyed the food I made for her. She is polite and kind.

So to summarise, she looks and moves like an Amazonian supermodel but is a lovely person who clearly appreciates when an effort is made for her. Highly recommended.

I had an excellent shoot with @Calamity - there was definitely nothing calamitous about it! She knows how to pose, and brought creative suggestions as well as courage and bravery, and we achieved some fantastic shots. A great personality too, very easy to talk to and engaging. I wouldn't hesitate to shoot again together when our paths next cross, Calamity was a pleasure to work with.

Shooting with C𝓪𝓵𝓪𝓶𝓲𝓽𝔂 was a great experience. Not only is she a perfect model, very conscious about her body and posing, but she is also a person with whom discussions bring high dimension exchanges.

Everything went as pre-agreed, in time and style, and even beyond. It has been a real pleasure to work with such a professional model, and I can only recommend her, vastly.
