New photographer looking for people to help me build my portfolio full of exciting and creative images.

So this is bit where I tell you all about me, who I am and how I got to this point in my life where i started trying to be a photographer.

I suppose we should start at the beginning, so here goes. My name is Anthony Willis, but most people just call me Tony. I live in Harrogate, North Yorkshire in England. I have spent most of my many years working in retail and I am a trained baker. I'm always getting asked how I can resist all the cream cakes that we sell. The answer is, it's easy when you don't like cream!

All my life I have had a passion for photography, but this has mainly been fuelled by mobile phones and basic compact cameras. A quick snap here, a holiday photo there and the odd selfie thrown in for good measure. I have now decided that it is time to buy myself a big boy camera and figure out how to use it. There is a lot to learn, from styles to composition, lighting to setting poses and working out what all those buttons and setting on my camera do. I think i'm getting to grips with most of it now, mainly due to the course i have been doing and some advice from photographers that i know. So it's now that time when I see where this passion can take me, taking better photos, my pictures making people smile or it might even take me further than i can imagine.
