Dave organised to shoot at Basford Hurst Cottage with Lady_TXOXO.

It was lovely to meet Dave and welcome him to Basford Hurst Cottage. His pre comms were great and needless to say the banter was fun too!! Dave arrived with everything he needed for the shoot and after a quick tour around began shooting with Lady T. During his time here Dave was easy to talk to and fun to get along with. He is clearly very passionate about his work and was completely respectful of our location and the model during the shoot.

We would absolutely reccomend Dave and look forward to welcoming him back to Basford again soon. Thank you Dave!!

Following my first shoot with Bruce, which was a 2 hour studio session in a lovely location close to my home.

He was very clear with what he wanted to achieve, and what I needed to bring with me, which included showing me mood images etc and the shoot was relaxed and enjoyable.

I'm looking forward to working with Bruce again next year.

Well I don't know how many years it's been but it was bloody great to see you!!! Thank you for coming to my home for a shoot! There was no bother at all while arranging the shoot and all communication was straight forward. You arrived on time ready to shoot and I was very happy with what I saw on the back of the camera.

As always you were a true gent, kind, genuine, chatty, friendly, funny but professional throughout. I always feel totally at ease when shooting with you.

I don't have a negative thing to say about you or our shoots and I would work with you again without hesitation.

Had such a fantastic first shoot with Dave from the Scorpion Residence in Kettering !

Dave very kindly fetched me from the station and we started shooting shortly after we arrive at the studio !

A lovely gentleman, totally easy-going and respectful and a delight to work with. My second shoot and his experience was immensely helpful, he totally worked to my pace and I felt 100% comfortable. We enjoyed a natter and got on really well which meant the shoot was really relaxing and fun. I most certainly would love to work with him again.

Dave booked me for an hour at The Pit on my recent tour. Pre-shoot communications were good and Dave is so friendly and chatty that the time really did fly by! He is professional and respectful in his attitude but also great fun to work with. Can't wait to see what we achieved and really hope we have the opportunity to work together in the future! Definitely recommended! :D

Had a fabulous time with Dave again yesterday, pre comes were excellent,he turned up on time, and as always we nearly chatted the whole shoot away but we got some wicked shots in. Looking forward to the next time, you will never be disappointed when shooting with Dave.

Yippeee! We had our shoot together at long last and it was fantastic, it's like the first shoot is normally spent with a quick "get to know you" chat as you sink into one another's style of shooting but I felt like I already knew Dave and we had been shooting regular for years! He is such a laugh and we did so well with our session getting through more beautiful sets than anticipated; Dave's photographic eye is just tremendous and our arty styles fit like a jigsaw. I just threw some shapes out and Dave was on the ball making the light awesome not just relative to the body but with the outfits as well making some very clever effects.

Our pre-shoot communications were articulate and covered lot's of topics - but on the day we mainly played by ear having got the gist of each others style there and then! He would always reply promptly and kept me updated in the run up, aside from all the wonderfully crazy chatter we had - just the character for a crazy model like me to get along with! But I have no doubts that other models will find him a true blast as well, seriously; I cannot recommend Dave enough. Completely professional but ever so easy to get along with

In the studio he was a whizz kid technically and knew exactly what he wanted to achieve with each set change but I am also very much looking forward to shooting some natural light ideas with Dave, thus I cannot wait to get the chance to work together for a second time. And I have actually met someone who didn't look at me weird for drinking tea that looks like some kind of dodgy drug! We even shared a mutual taste for redbush tea! :D

An utter legend, thank you ever so much Dave - I am so glad we got the chance to shoot in the end.

I worked with Dave for an hour at my studio day at the pit studio in Nottingham. Dave's pre communications were excellent and he arrived on time. He was a joy to shoot with, very relaxed, patient and easy going. He was happy to let me pose by myself but also suggested ideas and poses. He was professional, friendly, open minded and I felt comfortable and happy throughout.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and I hope our paths cross again at some point :)

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Dave yesterday. His pre comms were fantastic, and he turned up on time for a shoot at my home, he was lovely bubbly from start to finish. We had a great chat over tea and coffee before we started, the shoot itself couldn't have ran anymore smoothly, Dave certainly knows the ins and outs of photography and he also gave me a hand with figuring out my own camera (you're a star for that!). I felt so comfortable working with Dave, he's such a gentleman and a wonderful photographer, we got through some beautiful sets from lifestyle fashion, evening dress, to art nude, working on both high key and low key shots using the natural light in my spare room. I can easily and highly recommend Dave to any model wanting good company and lovely images, and I hope to be working with him again very soon.

I worked with dave for the fist time on friday, at scarsdale hall, it was a lovely shoot and we got some really arty shots, using the props we had around us and daves imagination! I would highly recommend working with dave and i hope to be working with him again very soon ☺️ xx

I worked with Dave at Joel Hicks Studio in Hinkley and everything went well. His communications were honest and clear and he was very easy going, professional and respectful on the day. He is also very interesting to speak to and he captured some beautiful images and natural portraits of me in the studio. I would happily work with him again!

I worked with Dave for the first time for a few hours at Joel Hicks Photographic Studio yesterday. Good pre-shoot comms meant I knew the kind of style he was interested in and what sort of outfits to bring, and I also got to learn more about the photographic artists that inspire him too.

Professional, open to collaboration, easy going and good to chat with, Dave also took time to review images as we worked which made the time relaxed and productive. I would happily shoot with him again and look forward to exploring more ideas.
