I shot with Brian at tiptop studio in Birmingham just a couple of days ago, he was very easy to get on with.. And when shooting he really does have an eye and knows how he wants the light!

The whole day was really fun and related, Brian worked well alongside other photographers too, always kind and polite and had a great personality :D

I really hope to get the chance to model for him again

I worked with Brian for the first time yesterday, and was extremely impressed by his professionalism. He easily guided all models into great poses, and was easy going and friendly throughout. He made use of available natural light as well as the studio lights and created some fantastic images. I had a great time shooting with Brian last week at Tip Top in Birmingham. We shot at a workshop I was modelling for, and although we didn't get a lot of time shooting together I could tell he's very creative and fun to work with! Hope we can work together again in the future!

I modelled for Brian in an editorial fashion shoot he organised. It was very well planned and he provided both an MUA and hairstylist. He is very easy to work with and gives good direction which would be especially useful for new or shy models! I felt comfortable throughout the whole shoot and would recommend him :)

I had a pleasure to do makeup for editorial shoot organized by Brian last week. I was amazed how much effort and planning he put into the shoot. We had two great models and very talented designer involved. Brian is very passionate and talented photographer and I would definitely recommend him if you are looking to do a fashion shoot. He is also very friendly and easy to get on with person.

It was really nice to shoot with Brian last Sunday. Pre shoot communication was great and we were able to discuss all the aspects to make sure that model, hair, make up, outfits etc go all well together, and that it is something we all agree on. He was very nice and professional, I really like the images and can't wait to see the final edits :)

I worked with BDSLR back in March to create the Happy Hippie look.

He was very friendly and approachable. Before the official shoot day we emailed to discuss the dates we were free, ideas we both had and BDSLR let me help chose a model that would work with the theme.

On the day of the shoot BDSLR talked me through the plans of what he was going to do, with the lighting and model positions, he was open to ideas I had so we could get the perfect shot to show off the makeup I had done.

It was a great evening in the studio and I would gladly work with BDLSR again in the future.

Having worked with Brian twice recently, following a very successful first shoot, I am filled with praise once again.

As Brian ran a lighting workshop for learning photographers, he asked me to model for the occasion. The evening was very successful, primarily because Brian had organised the evening perfectly and was helpful to myself and the other photographers at the event. Brian was able to very easily direct myself and the group of photographers with ease to achieve very effective results.

Following this, we arranged another shoot to take some portfolio shots. Again the evening was incredibly enjoyable and successful. Brian was prepared with a set of lighting designs and helpful suggestions, which allowed us to achieve the very most in our short shoot. Seeing the results now on my computer, which Brian returned very quickly, I am more than happy with the results - and I look forward to proudly showcasing them in my portfolios.

Once again, I leave the message to other models, that this a photographer that both new and experienced models should feel comfortable working with. Brian is friendly, approachable and a talented photographer. You'd be silly to say no!

Just got back from a brilliant shoot with Brian at 'the gem', he was a delight to work with and a true gent. Easy to get along with, good eye for detail and gave direction well. Brian has an excellent vision of the shots he wants to create in mind and you can tell he is passionate about photography. Tuesday evening I had a really successful shoot with Brian, who is an extremely kind and encouraging photographer. From the initial message to discussion of post-production, Brian's communication has been flawless. At the studio, Brian's approach to photography was methodical, thorough and professional. In his direction he makes you feel comfortable and encouraged as a model to experminet through poses, while ensuring you retain variety. Throughout the shoot, Brian kept an eye on time, which allowed us to achieve a great deal in a limited amount of time. This was down to a great deal of organisation and preparation previous to my arrival. Having recieved the images already, I am more than pleased wth the very high quality. All images are sharp, with a great range of flattering angles and lighting states. Little retouching is needed and I look forward to showcasing the results in my portfolios.

Brian is a very intelligent and down to earth man, whose skills I find to be beneficial to both new and experienced models. Not to be underestimated! ;)

I did a studio shoot with Brian yesterday and have already had a load of images through to see which ones will be processed. Brian knew exactly what sort of pictures he wanted which meant he gave great direction and there was no time wasting involved. Brian provided all the detail I needed for the shoot even though I stepped in last minute, Brian made me feel at ease and the shoot went really well. Productive and enjoyable shoot and I hope to work with Brian again, he has some great ideas.
