PLEASE READ BEFORE ARRANGING A SHOOT WITH ME

About me and rates:

Thank you for visiting my Purpleport page, my name's Brad and I'm a recent Photography graduate, always looking to work with new faces and create some magic.

I specialize in mainly fashion photography and portraiture, over the past two years I have really pushed myself and networked my skills and worked with various models. I have plenty of experience in working with models, my main schtick is creating working in heavily Urbanised environments and capturing shots that are a little rough around the edges in terms of style but appealing to the eye.

I'm friendly and approachable and quite laid back on shoots as I like to create a comfortable atmosphere for any models I work with as I feel this way we can both achieve the best results. I like to have a laugh and a joke on my shoots and I tend to be quite chatty as I feel as though this is the best environment for me to work in. Although if that is something you don't like the sound of then I will respect that.

Rates:

As of 2019 I will be limiting the number of TFP shoots I will be taking part in, I think this is fair due to the experience I have and the results I can achieve, my rates can be discussed by message.

However, I will take part in TFP shoots if I feel as though you or your idea can benefit my portfolio.

Travel:

I'm Huddersfield based but can happily travel to shoots if transport is covered and if the shoot is taking place outside of West Yorkshire.

I will only set off to the shoot once I have recieved confirmation off of the model, no confirmation will be considered a late cancellation on your part and I WILL leave a late cancellation reference.

Deposits:

Unfortunately I have been messed around a few times by models so therefore I will be taking deposits for shoots from now on. It'll be 50% of the agreed fee if it is a paid shoot or £65 if the shoot is TFP based, deposits for TFP shoots will be given back if the shoot goes ahead as planned without any issues.

Deposits must be provided no less than 72 hours before the shoot is set to take place. No deposit = no shoot.

*Please note deposits are non-refundable. If it is a genuine reason why you're cancelling and would like to reschedule then I will only take one deposit from you.

Cancellations:

Cancellations must be made as soon as possible, as mentioned above any deposits I've received will not be refunded as this is my main source of income, also as mentioned above I will only take one deposit from you if the reason for cancelling is genuine and if you would like to reschedule.

Communication:

I like to build a good report with models to ensure we know each other before the shoot and to ensure we both get the best results. I don't always use Purpleport but will reply as soon as I can. For quicker responses please message me on my Instagram.

We're all busy but please keep communication prompt, don't take days to reply to messages or the shoot will not be taking place and if any deposits have been provided then they will not be refunded.

Chaperones:

If it is your first shoot or if it is your first time shooting with me then you're more than welcome to bring a friend along with you if it puts you at ease. All I ask is they are respectful and don't interfere with the shoot. Sometimes I might bring a friend to assist me with the shoot.

Copyright and images:

For TFP shoots then I will retain the copyright of the images and therefore images will be watermarked and edits such as filters are not permitted on the images without my permission. (I've had a few instances my work has been stolen and re-edited without my consent)

For TFP shoots I will provide a maximum of 15 (or the agreed number of images) high quality edited images.

For paid shoots then the copyright of the images will be mine and the clients and the agreed number of images to be provided will be sent highly quality and edited.

Right that more or less covers everything (apologies if it dragged on like to be very organised and clear when it comes to shoots ��)

P.s. for the late cancellation reference I have it was down to me not being able to get out of work commitments which clashed with the TFP arranged shoot in which I told the model as soon as I found out myself and it was two days prior the shoot was meant to take place. Also the reference was left out of spite due to me leaving them one after they cancelled after I set off to meet them, which is why I take deposits and don't travel to shoots without a confirmation being given.
