Mark D'Cruz

A West London based photographer I'm passionate about photographing people and telling their story. I love taking photos of people; beautiful, alternative, old, young, funny, grouchy, whatever; I love telling peoples stories through my pictures and videos. Hopefully, I can tell some of your stories too.

I am comfortable working in a studio or on location, though location shooting is usually more fun. I have access to a couple of local studios in London and have a modest home studio too with a lovely garden. In London, we have a lot of beautiful locations, and I know a lot of them all within a short tube or bus ride.

I do travel to shoots, be it your home or studio location. I think shooting from models’ homes is unique as it helps me capture more of their unique personality and essence in the photographs.

While my personal projects are varied a lot of my works tends to be in the glamour and portraiture arena as I do tend to gravitate towards people. I love mythological, fanciful cosplay projects which I feel adds extra depth and character to the images and video clips and helps connect with and encapsulate people’s unique personalities.

I work for pay or trade depending on the project. I work with Professionals and absolute beginners and am comfortable with small or large projects.
