Steve came back to Basford this time to spend a half day shooting with the incredible Ayla Rose. It's always a pleasure to welcome Steve back to Basford and we always spend far too much time nattering over copious amounts of tea, but that's all part of the fun right!!

Once again a very successful shoot for Steve and it's been lovely to see so many wonderful edits appearing already!!!

Steve is of course welcome back to Basford anytime and we look forward to seeing him again soon! Thank you Steve!! :D

What can I say about mister Bogwoppett?! WOW 🤩 a true artist that’s for sure, I instantly clicked with Steve… yes, yes pun intended haha! A very intelligent individual with so many amazing ideas and a cracking portfolio to follow, so I was pleased to get to work with him on Lily Gilbert’s Muse model event recently! We took some beautiful art nudes by the window and the piano at the venue. Steve doesn’t just fire away, he literally knows exactly what it is he wants and aims for a few solid images. This I often prefer because actually it was really huge to have someone convey a proper storyline for an image and we took our time making sure that the angles of my body were right for how the light fell on me. A true craftsman and a true gentleman who I would love to work with again and highly recommend!

I had a fantastic time shooting with Steve for the first time a couple of days ago on the most recent MuseModel Event.

Steve is so incredibly polite and a total joy to be around! He brought along brilliant ideas, heaps of talent and a wonderfully creative mind.

I thoroughly enjoyed our time shooting together and I really hope we get to shoot again in the future!

I'll leave this one first and then back-track as I owe this lovely human so many references!!!

(For no other reason than I don't use this platform very often)

I have had countless shoots with Steve over the last few years and honestly I wouldn't know where to start with a favourite if I tried.

He is such a polite and respectful photographer with a striking passion for art and striving to create the "perfect shot"... and believe me, he does!

He is so meticulous in making sire that the images you create together are perfect in every single way, coming armed with props and ideas and moodboards and a genuine love for creating magic! It always makes the shoot such a joy to be a part of, and Steve couldn't be more grateful for every single shot if he even tried.

I pushed him way out of his comfort zone and invited him to my event where he was pressured to work faster than normal, back to back with models he didn't know. Steve took every part of it in his strode and create so many beautiful timeless captures as well as being a delight for the models to be with.

Thanks Steve. You're one in a million!

Steve came back to Basford Hurst Cottage, this time to shoot with the fabulous Lily Gilbert.

It's always a pleasure to welcome Steve to Basford, he always has a load of incredible ideas (sometimes quirky!!) and this time was no exception with a bridal dress and gothic boots!! The back of camera shots looked great and Steve is easy to have around and great for a natter!!

Steve asked me if I would be interested in arranging a shoot with him at Basford Hurst Cottage to experiment with different lighting capturing water, bubbles, smoke, colours and everything in-between!! Of course, I had to jump at that opportunity!!!

Steve arrived on time and brought with him lots of props and everything we could have possibly needed for a great experimental shoot!!!

Throughout the shoot Steve had a keen eye for detail to really get that pin point shot!! And I think we nailed it!! We had a lot of laughs throughout the shoot and our time absolutely flew by!!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Steve came back to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with Leanne (Miss C) on a creative exploration of lighting, water droplets, bubbles and smoke!!

All pre comms with Steve were great and he arrived on time with an abundance of items for the shoot. Throughout his time at Basford he was always respectful of Leanne and our location and is polite and friendly to be around.

Had a wonderful shoot with Bogwoppet at Basford Hurst Cottage on my studio day.

He is intelligent, friendly and easy to chat to do.

He was 100% professional, we had lovely chat whilst we shot and i felt comfortable around him at all times.

He has a unique photography style and creating something artistic and new is important to him.

He was even kind enough to give me a lift back to the station.

All in all i would highly recommend & i'd love to shoot with him again.

Steve came to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with Tania Aresti on her studio day.

It was a pleasure to welcome Steve back to Basford. All pre comms were great and the booking was easy to organise. Steve arrived on time and after a cuppa tea and a chat him and Tania began shooting.

Steve always has loads of ideas to work with on a shoot and we really find him very inspiring indeed!!! He was completely respectful of Tania throughout the shoot and always looks after our location.

After lots of talking and planning I finally had the wonderful opportunity to shoot with Steve!! All pre comms were great and we decided to do the crazy mad thing of getting up and out for 5:30am to catch the sunrise on the Peak District!!

Sadly, our plan was foiled slightly by a horde of midges who had a taste for models and photographers!!! - Luckily, that did not deter us and we did manage to get some incredible images on the open road and by a gated area on the hills. Afterwards we drove back to Basford and the fun really didn't stop there...! After a cup of tea we went down to the woodland and shot with mud, water, knives and leaves!! The theme was 'neanderthal woman' and I think we aced it!!!

Shooting with Steve is a lot of fun, he provides plenty of feedback and direction as well as allowing me to bring my own ideas to the shoot! We could have talked for hours but we wouldn't have got any shooting done at that rate haha!!

Steve sent me an image that evening and I am really looking forward to seeing some more!! I would recommend shooting with Steve, especially if you want to do something out of the ordinary haha! Thanks Steve!!

Pre comms with Steve were great! Steve arrived on time and with plenty of props for a fantastic shoot. Steve was friendly, respectful and very knowledgeable (as you can see from his vast array of beautiful images). He had many great ideas and really knew how to work with both the natural and artificial light here at Basford.

UK MODEL EVENTS

Steve was great to have on our 70s Event with models Natasha, Mystique Fay, Elle Baldwinson and Rose.

This event was of course unique to others with the location, we hadn't been to Manchester for quite some time, it was great to revisit. Steve was fun to be around and images that were produced were amazing. Highly recommended by us!

We would love to have you on another event!

Another great shoot with Steve!!

Steve is absolutely lovely and he’s become a close friend now! We first met on my UME event and since then have shot multiple times and hopefully more to come if he can put up with me!

This time we worked at TBG studio and tried our usual craziness!! This time it was more relaxed and unplanned and we just went with the flow!

I would 100% recommend working with Steve, he’s fun, friendly, professional and produces beautiful images!

I just adore working with Steve.

We first worked together a few years ago and since then we have had multiple shoots together.

Steve is such an awesome guy. He brings interesting and unique ideas, complimentary props/clothing and always has a good idea about how to light the set (which he smashes every time).

Steve is also one of those people that I never get bored around, he is an intelligent, deep and thoughtful person who is also funny, kind and honest, which makes it a pleasure to be around him.

This time he painted me gold and he managed to organise another model (Natasha) to come and join us for a duo set at the end.

A great shoot and really good results.

I worked with Steve for the first time at Aura studio. Steve was very easy to get along with and had some awesome, quirky ideas - which always makes a shoot interesting. The shoot was relaxed and we were able to work together, bouncing ideas to achieve a variety of shots. Steve was professional at all times and I felt totally comfortable working with him. I had a lovely second shoot with Steve at TBG studio!

This time we tried something a little different and a bit out of my comfort zone! I have muscles today that I didn’t know I had haha! I don’t do much of the art nude athletic poses and I now know why because it’s very hard not to get a cramp.

However I did have a lot of fun trying these and using his ideas/poses from the printed booklets he brought with him.

Steve brought along loads of clothes and costumes but of course we didn’t get through them. Always for the next time though!

Steve is a true gentleman and I do love working with him because he is just so respectful and genuine!

I had a lovely first shoot with Steve at my home, he brought along loads of ideas and loads of stuff to play with eg nails, hats, clothes etc

His pre-comms were great and he let me know all the shoot details. He knew exactly what ideas he wanted to shoot.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to play with much of it because we were to busy chatting away but we didn’t mind because it was the first time shooting together and we had a great conversation!

I would definitely love to shoot with Steve over and over again! He’s a great genuine person and he takes great images. He’s very good with lights, shadows and posing!

I would 100% recommend Steve!
