It was a shoot four years in the making... and it didn't disappoint!

I finally got to sample Paul's unique brand of brilliance first hand, and I loved every minute of it. His communication both before and during the shoot are top notch, and importantly he has a clear vision of what he wants to achieve. But that doesn't mean sticking to it rigidly! Ideas are organic and flow freely when he's behind the camera, and we both see things the same way - the greatest crime isn't getting something wrong, it's not giving it a go in the first place. So we'll try something crazy and we'll probably hit upon something amazing!

I can't speak highly enough of him. Absolute first-class fella but, just as importantly, he's a first-class photographer. I LOVED the images we created and he has a truly fantastic eye. Thanks for making me look cool, Paul - we WILL do it again soon!

I LOVE PAUL! I just completed two days of shooting with him and fabbo Kitty Quinzell. He's so thoughtful and kind, and he's also extremely creative, which means that no two shoots with him are the same, and you never feel as though you're just going over old ground. This is such a nice feeling. On day two disaster struck with a malfunctioning SD card, and through no fault of Paul's we lost some pictures. This is the sort of thing that can wreck the happiness and energy of a shoot, and it's testament to his character that he stayed upbeat and handled the situation incredibly calmly and professionally. I can't wait to see the images, they looked fantastic on the back of the camera. Thanks Paul!

Every shoot I do with Paul, no matter how little time in between, is different and fun :)

I did two full days with him and Joceline in a week and loved every minute of it, he's not afraid to experiment and try different ideas out, he has some fantastic styling ideas too. We always produce something brilliant together.

And he is the nicest guy you could hope to meet.

Any time he wants to work with me, I'll be there :)

Just finished a shoot with Paul and I couldn't be happier. Paul contacted me via a casting call I had put up for part of my mini tour via Carlisle this weekend. His comms were spot on and he was clear about what he wanted to shoot and what styles he wanted to cover. He provided some really nice outfits and props and created some seriously amazing shots. The time flew by shooting with Paul as he is so easy to talk to and work with. He has such a down to earth personality and is really good fun. I do hope to shoot again in the future when I am back in the area and I look forward to seeing the final results from today's shoot.

I had the pleasure of shooting with Paul last weekend in Carlisle - after two years of trying to work together it was long overdue!

Pre-shoot comms were great and I knew exactly what to bring - although Paul provided most of the outfits - and on the day I felt like I had a good idea what we were going for.

I adore the work that Paul does as it is spontaneous and explorative - it was full of "shall we try...?" moments. He is super duper easy to get on with and good company and I think we got some great images from the day!

I look forward to working with Paul again and would definitely recommend him!

I recently had the privilege of working with Bocote photoart for the 2nd time. Communication and discussion of ideas and such were regular and responsive. Good use of planning, though not over controlling, so not to disrupt creative flare.

I was met on arrival at the train station and made to feel completely welcome and respected throughout of shoot, we has lots of banter and laughs as well as a lot of spontaneity and creativity.

Easy and enjoyable to work with and I would certainly recommend Bocote Photoart!

At the start of my Scottish tour last month, I managed to stop off in Carlisle on the way up and that was when the lovely Paul and I finally had our first shoot together after it being in the pipeline for some time! :D We only shot for a couple of hours this time but with the epic working relationship and stream of beautiful images that was happening, we could have easily filled a full day - Paul is such a down to earth and productive thinker and he brought some amazing ideas along for us to give a whirl to see what sort of things would click well with the imagery. It's really beneficial for creatives to work in this way: bouncing off each other with good flow and getting a feel for each others style because no shoot is ever the same; you work together creatively and concoct cool visionaries between you!

The shoot had the most stress-free and laid back atmosphere - Paul strives to make his shoots fun and chilled hence everyone involved enjoys the session. :) He has is laptop at the ready to tether what we were creating which I just LOVE to see, he's such a kind and thoughtful person because it's little things like appreciating a models input and allowing them to be a part of the creating; seeing the images like this as you work gives inspiration for the next sets and a clear idea of how it's working so you nail it more and more as you go along. That said... even the first few shots Paul captured were looking sensational! We just gelled in no time at all! :D

Yep: the session was grand and there was no shortage of voice-box workouts! :P He's a very friendly and chirpy character which is great because shoots where you can have a laugh are up there with the top. From a model's perspective... receiving compassionate respect, courtesy and actually walking away having had a really positive shoot experience just gives you that much more drive. You certainly get into the shoot so much easier and even when you've never worked together before - good surroundings and good people will guarantee one heck of a prolific photoshoot. Paul is a real gem and I cannot wait to work with him again. :) He always checks that the models are fine with the styles and puts their comfort top of the list.

Banter and laughs aside: Paul is in fact a very talented photographer: we shot at Pete's Place Studio Carlisle and he knew his lighting through and through for the styles we shot. It was never a dull moment because we did high key, followed by some more dramatic/shadowy work and all the while Paul was getting the setups organised so efficiently to create the perfect mood and feel to the shots. He's got a very good eye for photography and knows what works in a shot from the little details to the bigger picture. The back of the laptop was looking rather sizzling indeed! The few edits so far even better in their full glory. :) You would have literally thought it was our second shoot or something because we really were on a roll!

Shooting time passed quickly but we worked through a range of styles and the photos are looking great.

He is talented, easy to get along with and exceptionally considerate of a model's preferences, ideas and limits while at the same time, effective at communicating the mood and images that he wants to capture. I shot with Paul and Joceline this weekend, Paul decided to some bodyscapes with a difference and I have to say the images we created were some of the best I've ever seen in the genre, the lighting was beautiful and the styling and concept worked remarkably well. Such a lovely man! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul, he's so considerate and kind, and he always has a wealth of ideas to explore. Furthermore, he's really flexible, so allows for plenty of improvisation within the shoot. He's also great about allowing the model to view the shots as the shoot progresses, which is so satisfying and helpful. I really like him, and will always hope to continue to work with him.

After a year since our last shoot together it was great getting back together with Paul again recently for another full day shoot. It's always a pleasure working with him, he's really laid back and treats his models incredibly well. He's got a wicked sense of humour too so it's always a fun day full of laughs!

His work has came on loads since I first worked with him a few years back, and it's nice to see him finally getting some confidence in his work and photographic ability as when I first met him he didn't have a lot of confidence in his work at all which was a real shame!

Happily recommended by me and hopefully it won't be another year this time haha!

It was my first time working with Paul but we got along strait away and communication was great.

I recently met Paul at a small group shoot at Centre Studio. He turned up on time and ready to shoot. Paul worked well in the group, was easy to work with and we were able to get some good results. I look forward to hopefully working with him again during my next visit. I recommend working with him.

We worked together on a two hour studio day slot after talking online about our ideas. We easily got into the fetish photography and had a great laugh! It was amazing talking and working with someone so easy going, who doesnt rush and pulls out some truly amazing technically outstanding results.I cant wait to work together again in the near future :D
