This was my second shoot this week with BlueEyedTog (Alan) as a planned shoot was cancelled, and Alan had talked about a second shoot on location if the weather was kind to us.
The location was the Loup of Fintry, a waterfall near to Fintry. It was not obvious when we parked up, that a waterfall was nearby. The theme was warrior Princess utilising my Medieval outfit.
After a walk across a moor, with just a few horses and a donkey as company, suddenly the waterfall appeared in front of us.
A quick change from borrowed wellies in to the outfit, with additional sword and we were set to go. The terrain was challenging for setting up the camera and tripod, and we had to contend with a brisk wind. Although the sky darkened over, the threatened rain did not materialise. The clouds lent dramatic effect to the images, and went well with the theme.
Alan indulged me by taking more images of me in shiny black leggings and a silver sequinned top for a complete contrast to the main outfit.
As before Alan took great care to get the conditions right with the camera set up , having to contend with the ever changing conditions of light and wind strength. I was able to see the images when we got back to his house, and was excited when I saw the unedited images. Very dramatic.

I had a great shoot with BlueEyedTog, ( Alan) at his home studio today. I was made to feel very welcome and it was a relaxed start. We split it between portraiture and boudoir sets. It was so enjoyable that the time flashed by and it was time to go home. Alan has a great range of backdrops to suit different styles and colours of outfits. The lighting set up is superb, and Alan is very skilled in placement to get the best result.
The boudoir set used a range of my outfits to contrast well with the more formal studio style set.
I’d highly recommend BlueEyedTog to any model.
