Well that's another fantastic shoot with Jocey done this weekend. Again, lots of experimentation with different styles and setups, and some new stuff neither of us had tried before. Even managed to convince her to stand under a freezing rain machine on a cold and windy, wintery night. That's dedication for you :)

Still such an easy model to work with, always up for a fun shoot, and well able to see your visions, no matter how hair brained they are.

My first shoot with Jocey and what a pleasure. Very versatile, creative, intelligent and experienced. Lively conversation, good coffee and an extremely easy, pleasant, professional few hours. The shoot didn't go entirely to plan as one location was closed but we just tried out some other ideas and Jocey didn't blink when I fitted her in the worlds smallest wardrobe! Highly recommended. If I'm ever in Dublin again I'm sure we'll shoot again..........

Another weekend, another shoot with Jocey :) That's about 6 now, and here's to 6 more. This time was our 2nd bodypaint shoot with pro-painter, Bianca, and the results were fantastic. 4 hours in paint, and another 3 hours for the shoot all in Jocey's stride. Always fun, and top quality.

This was my first but definitely not the last time I work with Jocey. Her pre shoot communication was excellent. She was punctual and professional at all times. It was fun and great to work with her. Had no problem standing still for the rope work and wanted to get each shot just right.

Jocey has lost count of the number of times we've shot now, so I'll remind her that this was the 5th :) This time, we did our most epic shoot so far, employing the skills of a very talented body painter which really did work out brilliantly. Jocey, as always, brought her A game to the day, and with plenty of fun and laughs we got through multiple styles and accessories to complement the body paint.

Completely recommended and looking forward to the next shoot. Where to go from here though...

I had my second shoot today with Jocey, and I can't say enough good things about her. Pre-shoot communications were brilliant and we discussed the themes and styles I was looking to capture, Jocey brought a huge suitcase of clothes but as always we ran out of time long before we ran out of ideas! She is a delight to work with, with great hair and makeup skills (she has a diploma in makeup artistry and this might explain why she is so good!). She is very professional, hard working, full of ideas and energy. Not only a great model she is also a genuine nice person with a great personality, very friendly and eager to give that little bit extra to ensure you get your shot.

Jocey came to stay with me for our fourth shoot last weekend, and as usual I can't say enough good things about her. Theme and style was discussed beforehand, the date was set, and everything went as smoothly as could be.

The year has been a bit of an "annus horribilis". For a while, I was considering packing in photography altogether. A (wise) friend suggested I put the gear away, take a break, and decide later. I did. But I also felt my shoots were going downhill. I felt a lot of my earlier work was better so I decided to go back to basics.

Start with one light and go from there. I chose Jocey 'cos I know her and she's a hard worker. She has never once balked at my strange ideas and not only do we collaborate to a degree but we also have a laugh while we're at it. There's no ego!

I'm glad I did. Jocey was patient and we got some good stuff from the shoot. And I'm back in the saddle, so to speak.
