This is the second time now that I have had the chance to shoot with this amazing couple - I am sooooo happy that we managed to make our dates work, because initially the timing was a little bad for my tour and when I was due to be arriving in Switzerland. In the end we were able to fit a shoot in with some luck - yayyyy! And this was going to be my very first shoot to start off a lengthily tour of several different countries on my big international adventure. What a splendid way to start my journey. I couldn't think of better people to start off with to be honest. :)

I arrived in Switzerland the evening before the date of our photo shoot: into Basel which is not the most local airport but it meant that by coming the day before I could be well prepared for a wonderful full day with Sandro and Christine. The other wonderful thing that I have to thank these guys for is their astounding kindness in offering me a place to stay between arriving/shooting/departing which really took a lot of extra travel/organising stress off for me - I usually anticipate booking small rooms with accommodation websites in the local area (which can sometimes be a challenge to get to with your huge touring luggage!) so when it was offered in pre-shoot communications; I just cannot express how grateful I was! Not only ease for my planning of this part of my tour, but also divine company with people who have really big hearts and are very fun to hang out with! :D Therefore - the next morning we were full on energy and enthusiasm for the studio photo shoot we had planned. Enjoying the stunning views of the lake on the way.

The studio that Christine and Sandro use is a spectacular space. It's huge as part of an industrial/business area which makes it perfect for the different permanent sets and being able to assemble lighting in creative ways. There is also a separate/private model changing area for doing outfits and makeup etc. It literally has everything you might need. :) I was familiar with the studio from a previous Swiss tour, so I knew already that it was an outstanding place to work: and that these guys had very high standards with having the quality resources to make top class pictures! We had a number of concepts to work on for our shoot: some of which Sandro and Christine had organised/acquired outfits and props for, and others were my own outfit supplements they had asked me to bring. But basically they had grand plans for absolutely everything. :P

From Ethereal and enchanting fine art with instrument props - to quirky modern fashion with a twist - flouncy dresses and smoke to latex even! The teamwork was powering through and the artistic vibe on the day simply blew the roof off the building. :P But this is the thing with this awesome photographic duo: they put all and everything into their work, so when they have a particular idea for shot then it really is all the effort/care and hard work to make that shot as spectacular as can be. If that means packing their cars with all these fantastic props - so be it! Or creating cool effects in the studio that beats any kind of filter in post processing - so be it! You won't come across anyone more passionate about their photography work, and the inspiration that they give off is so infectious (which is why it's such a buzz to work with them!)

Both Sandro and Christine have their own individual styles and taste with their work. So you get double the creativity when working a day with them! :D There might be one particular setup that they build together, but with the taking of the pictures their own visions and drive to get the images in their mind shines through. It felt like sooooo many great images came from this shoot - but that's because they were both working their own magic. They also work very well in conjunction with each other and can keep an eye on/help to adjust the light whilst the other one is shooting - or like helping to create the smoke when we did the dress series. They have a brilliant system working together to get the best out of the day which is part of the awesome atmosphere on their shoots. :) They also make the day fun and have good banter with each other and that you can be a part of... The fun and laughs we had just made the day go even faster!

Of course it goes without saying that I felt totally content and comfortable, being well looked after throughout the whole day with Sandro and Christine. Literally from start to finish. :) They are such relaxed people who strive all the time to create a delightful and pragmatic work environment for everyone on board - no pressures, no stress... Just lots of smiles and epic pictures as the result. :D But it also needs mentioning that they are the most gracious and respectful people that this world has, and it means a lot to them when models feel safe and positive during the shoot. Their professional attitudes are up there with the best! Even when we finished shooting: Christine and Sandro wanted to ensure that we all got delicious nourishment after the session. They recommended a STUPENDOUS Italian restaurant in the local area and we ended the evening on such a high.

It's just a total joy working with these guys - I am definitely coming back in the summer next time though! We already decided that so we can go on another location adventure! :D

The biggest recommendation in the world! These people are real stars!!!!

Thank you so much Sandro and Christine - for everything!

There are no words to describe how amazing a day I had working with the amazing Sandro and his wife Christine! :D They are undeniably the nicest people you could meet and work so harmoniously as a photographer duo as well with their own photographic interests and creativity shining individually, but the added elements of group productivity coordinating fruitfully well at the same points in time at each location. If there is a duo of photographers in this creative world to recommend - BischiPhoto is that pair without any shred of doubt! :)

I shot with Sandro and Christine during my latest mega-tour of Europe during the time when I came to Switzerland. Their communication was fantastic - we isolated a date and they got back to me promptly so that we could get it in the diary and I could plan my tour around it/my movements and I was excited about the shoot before it had even begun because Christine and Sandro only let it slip that they planned for us to go to some absolutely gorgeous locations deep in the Swiss mountains! Crystal glacial streams, cute charismatic huts, caved tunnels and a cheeky waterfall... Yep, that's me in my element! :D Their knowledge of amazing shooting locations was truly out of this world and they planned the day so carefully with several different location stops to get the best out of our day with all these beautiful places. I was just looking out of the window seeing potential shoot locations every 5 seconds! You are so spoilt in this part of the world, it would be easy to lose track of time but Sandro's and Christine's careful selection of the best places and time-planning was total perfection. Each place lent itself to a slightly different look as well which was nice and allowed us to bag a magical mix of conceptual/fairy tail fashion style images along with the wonderfully classic artistic nude styles: Both Sandro and Christine have totally individual shooting styles as photographers which is really nice because their personal flare comes to life in their work and how they approach framing a particular shot.

We certainly had an interesting day with the weather! Sunny bouts, followed by soft cloud and then the monsoon fortunately only hit as we finished but it was so strange because it was still so warm! Mind you there was a tropical storm the day after which kind of explained it... But it meant that we were gifted with the full spectrum of different lighting conditions on the day from harsh sun to soft wrap-around light. In such circumstances it can be so easy for a pale model like me to make the exposures go crazy, but Christine and Sandro literally had every shot under careful control from the first picture to the last. :) They are both very talented photographers, their skill is clear especially when you're out on location like we were because you face a whole host of challenges when getting your pictures: camera angles, the weather, backdrop quality, changeable lighting, people appearing... But they were just on-pointe with everything so effortlessly and produced so many exceptionally good images! :D It honestly gave me such a buzz looking through the back of the camera and seeing what we had done. This is the kind of day where you end on such a high and then can't get to sleep because you're so overjoyed and hyper about how fab a shoot it's been! :P

In terms of recommending this lovely couple - I would shout it from the tops of the mountains. :) They are so professional, so respectful/kind and care very much about their models wellbeing and comfort. They Kindly picked me up from where I was staying the night before, and then dropped me off again after for huge help and convenience - before the shoot even started they took me to a supermarket on the way to pick up some lunch and munchies for the day to keep energy levels up and stay hydrated. Then mid shoot we had a stop at arguable the best little café with outstanding mountain views and extremely good ice cream... It didn't stop there! at the end of the shoot we grabbed coffee near lake Lucerne to seal an amazing day. The pace was relaxed from the word go and this level of photographers showing this much kindness and care for the people they work with really does make you excel yourself at work. Honestly, Sandro and Christine are total stars and I couldn't think of a single model ever not enjoying their shoot with them. Their courteous etiquette goes off the scale! Positively of course! And amid a wonderful day of creating dynamic artistic pictures, indulging in cream and enjoying awe-inspiring scenery, we got a lot of chattering done as well! How on earth we crammed so much fun all in to one day I do not know! :D

I cannot wait for the opportunity to work with Sandro and Christine again. They are amazing!

Thank you again guys!
