I had a lovely first shootwith Birgit on Friday.

Pre communications were excellend with a clear shoot plan on the day and Birgit was also super professional in also keeping me updated on the day of her travel.

The shoot itself was a great shoot, covering a lot of styles inc a few one light fashion set ups, some portrait shots inc a headpiece one, a beautiful soft printed roses backdrop and a large retro dress and a quirky colourful set.

The images look great and i am glad Birgit has the job of choosing her favourites from it :)

Birgit is fantastic to work with, needs no direction at all and is a great model and we already have a second shoot booked in soon for some crazy colours and quirky sets so i highly recommend working with her.

I have shot with Birgit several times now. Some models do a few poses, and that is the extent of their input. This is not Birgit. She always puts 100% into the modelling, contributing creative ideas, clothing suggestions... and really acting as a catalyst in the creative process. Along with her striking features, and endless legs, she is also a really lovely person, easy to direct and fun too.

We work so well together; indeed, she is one of the models I can say has become a good friend and fellow creative.

We are already discussing concepts for further shoots,, so, as you can see I am a major fan of hers! If you do have the opportunity to work with Birgit, seize the opportunity!

Today I was fortunate enough to have my second shoot with the lovely Birgit at Maan Studio in Streatham and what can I say ?!?!? Pre shoot coms were superb, Birgit is bursting with ideas and encouragement.

Birgit arrived at the studio on time and the 4 hours we had to shoot flew by, we got through so many ideas and concepts in that time. Birgit is one of the most energetic and creative models I have had the joy to work with, she provides so much to the shoot both conventional and novel / unique, she has such a huge artistic side with such a huge range of poses providing some truly fascinating, beautiful and interesting work. She has the heart, patience and kindness of a saint, she is so encouraging and positive, kind and fun. She needs absolutely no direction but also superbly draws out your own ideas and direction which she encourages. She brought with her some terrific outfits and, for me, offered some truly beautiful, unique work, stretching my experience and helping me to learn.

Birgit is a terrific model who will prepare and work incredibly hard before and during the shoot, she has a terrific work ethic and superbly positive attitude providing kindness, encouragement, professionalism, creativity, fun and stunning work. We have so many amazing shots to work with and I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome.

I absolutely highly recommend Birgit 1000% to any photographer amateur, hobbyist or professional. She will not disappoint.

Here’s a reference that’s long overdue, due to my holidays since, and such; my apologies to you Birgit.

Pre-Shoot & Post-Shoot:

From the outset, Birgit’s communications have been exquisite, professional and on point, right through our shoot, and our interactions since.

The Shoot:

Upon arrival, Birgit’s enthusiasm, passion, and organisation shone through. All props and items discussed were brought, and many more besides, of which some were indeed used. Such a treat to have such an organised and creative model.

We had already discussed our shoot plans in advance, however, we went through them again on the day pre-shoot, and individually and collectively came up and agreed on some additional shoot ideas (within the boundaries of what had already been agreed).

Communications throughout, and the sharing of ideas and poses were wonderful from Birgit. This really was a gorgeous and enjoyable shoot, and we inevitably ran out of time - a very good sign! Birgit is so passionate and professional about her modelling, it’s oozes from her. Birgit‘s ability to move and flow seamlessly from pose to pose, is such a joy to witness first hand; she knows exactly what works.

Overall:

Birgit is a highly professional, timely, organised and joyful model to work with. Birgit gets a Top Star Rating from me, and I highly recommend her to all professional, and professional minded photographers, MUA‘s as well as those wishing the skills of a truly professional and highly personable model.

After a few delays, we finally got together to shoot an idea we had discussed a few months ago. Technically, it was a bit challenging, but Birgit has the patience of a saint and it all went ok. It would have gone on for longer had we been able, but then there's always next time. :)

Birgit is affable and beautiful, and keen to embrace my ideas, however outlandish. I can't recommend her highly enough, and I'm really looking forward to working with her more.

Birgit and I have now done 4 shoots together since we first met over 11 months ago, and it has been wonderful to see how successful she has been in progressing her modelling career. This of course is no surprise given her warm, generous and friendly personality, her consummate professionalism and attention to detail, and her application and determination to make things happen. Today I had my first shoot with Birgit and I could not be more pleased with how it went!

I wanted to get some shots in London and also bring my wife along for experience and Birgit was probably the perfect person for this. She was absolutely brilliant with both myself and my wife and i was really appreciative of how she helped my wife with posing and ideas.

Originally, I wanted my wife to come along to watch to see a pro in action but Birgit suggested the two of them also work together which I thought was fantastic.

Birgit is full of ideas and has an eye for creative shots which helped us both. Having flicked through the images I had taken today, I am really pleased with the results.

She poses effortlessly, has an eye for detail and wants to make sure you get the best results.

I also just want to take the opportunity to thank Birgit for today as it wasn’t only a shoot, but a great experience and I really look forward to working with her again.

We went for a walk about shoot in Canary Wharf and Birgit picked out some brilliant locations.

Birgit is a joy to work with! Enthusiastically embraced what I was trying to achieve, both in pre-comms and on set, and fitted right in to the creative team to nail both sets - an Irving Penn inspired fashion editorial and an avant garde 'drippy' make-up/beauty set. Her distinctive and elegant looks were prefect for the shoot, and throughout her experience and professionalism, and active contribution to the shoot, coupled with a relaxed and friendly approach ensured the full day shoot was as enjoyable as it was productive.

I had a really creative and inspiring shoot with Birgit. We were shooting a narrative in her apartment. A story in pictures about woman who had been on a business trip and whilst away, her partner had left her. A pretty tricky thing to do. She was excellent. She was very responsive to the story and direction. She contributed a few good ideas, as well. Would I recommend her? Definitely!

As you can see from her images, she can do all styles incl. portrait, nude,high fashion and abstract- she is extremely creative, loves to try new ideas and challenge herself and the photographers. As a result, she produces distinctive images that show her own style and mean she is the perfect model to work with if you want to try new ideas, challenge your shoot style and add to your portfolio.

She is well organised, communicates very well before a shoot and is really easy to work with in the studio. She also has a vast wardrobe and plenty of ideas to create looks.

Birgit is a lovely and striking model .. a total pleasure to work with.. and very creative. Her idea of styling for a fashion shoot was spot on. We shot stills and video and she was elegant, bold and imaginative in her posing for both.

She takes direction well but also comes up with her own ideas during the shoot.
