Between The Anchors

Keen hobbyist in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. I strive to produce beautiful, tasteful and interesting portraits in a variety of locations.  My style is constantly evolving, and I've a preference for simple, elegant shots focussing on portraiture and the features of the face. 

It's my aim to see beyond the model, and to take a peek into the person. The style of portraits will be influenced by the look and personality of the subject.

Happy to work with established or new models, and always aim to be punctual, professional, respectful and courteous. 

I shoot digitally using Canon DSLRs, and have a decent array of lenses and speedlights to get best use of any given location or situation.

I'm in my forties, married and for my day job I'm a master mariner, with photography very much a passion project for my own creative interest.  All photographs will be made available to the model for their own use, and I'm happy to pay agreed rates for all shoots.

Always happy to collaborate with anyone who is up in my area, but will generally make arrangements to shoot during my frequent trips to the mainland.
