Bene contacted me for a shoot and while I was out in Spain we organised to shoot there, and Bene flew from Barcelona to Cala Ego, he booked an apartment at the Alua apartments near to where I was staying. At 10am we met up and scouted around the coast to shoot there, it was very rocky which I wasn’t prepared for, luckily Bene is very considerate and had already bought some jelly shoes for me which were appreciated. The weather was perfect conditions as being in the shallow rock coves by the crashing waves it is very weather dependent, also we were lucky with privacy as the area has stunning views and a popular spot, we were shooting art nude and if it was busy this would not have been possible.

Initial communication was great, clear and precise no messing around. The day was great, super relaxed and just shooting when we felt like it really. We got some great shots by the rocks which I can’t wait to post, he took on board my suggestions though I was keen to do his style and get the images he wanted as he travelled to me after all. We spent all day really searching the area and grabbed some lunch too with it being a hot day and the sea air is tiring he made sure I was rested, very considerate and attentive.

We went on a little adventure around the rocks which his flip-flop strap broke while we were on a treacherous route which we didn’t realise until it was too late to turn back - everything was fine and it was actually my suggestion to go that way so that’s on me!

Since the shoot we have already arranged another shoot this year which looks like it will be on Lanzarote to which I am again looking forward to as it is similar landscape and I know we will get on well and create some amazing images!
