2017 has been a bad year, missed and cancelled shoots, health problems, just all round not good. I'm out of the country as I usually am in the summer months. Looking forward to autumn/winter 2017/18 I'm not confident things will improve much but I will try to reply to messages and I'm always happy to see guests. 

If you have short notice availability and can get to my front door then I almost certainly can and will shoot with you, it's planned shoots that are proving difficult.

Please note: I am not always the fastest at replies on Purple Port. I also slow down in every sense in the winter months Nov-Feb often to a complete stop.

If you want to book a shoot with me start with the date. I'm very flexible so I can usually match your need (weekdays daytime). Endless mails back and forth without a date often get lost in the junk with me.

I work in a wide variety of styles, the majority of my work where I pay a model is erotic up to and including hardcore art (or whatever you want to call it), but I try to keep some sort of story in all of them.

Please note: if your profile states adult I need to know precisely what your limits are. If you shoot erotic, once again I need your definition of that, not mine. If I ask crude questions about open legs, toys etc it's because I'm not clear on your limits, it isn't a suggestion, please don't take offence. I don't ask stupid questions when it clearly says no on your profile. If you're profile states no nudity then what I want from you won't involve nudity or anything close.

I like two or more people in shots, it makes it a lot easier to explain a story that way. The second person can be only a hand, foot etc and won't necessarily be anywhere near the model. Partners, friends and chaperones are great for this, usually don't need experience and often don't need to be 'head in shot'

I mostly work in digital, indoors and out. I enjoy collaboration with both photographers and models. I work with male and female models regardless of age, size etc. You do not have to be young, female or nude.

The shoots with models here are largely for my enjoyment only. It is entirely possible that you will end up being publicly exhibited in gallery shows or similar but don't expect fame through me. Obviously that means little money coming in for me so my budget is very tight. If I pay you other than expenses I won't be expecting to hand over copies from shoots, if you need shots it will need to be on a tfp basis. As a rule I prefer not to shoot tfp as that means less responsibility for me.

The majority of my public work is held on FlickR, visible is mostly for non-nude only. Nude work is almost exclusively private I am not offended by anything, question, suggestion or otherwise so please don't feel any need to be shy.

Often my wife will be around to assist somewhere on shoots, often she grabs the camera for angles that she sees etc. There is no need for shyness with her, she is an artist in her own right. If you have a problem with that you'll need to let me know in advance. I have no problems with anyone bringing chaperones, mates or pets.

All shoots at my place come with tea/coffee as standard and meals if it's that time of day.

I prefer to work weekdays in the daytime. Weekends get complicated but aren't necessarily impossible. Evenings and nights are fine when relevant. 

I do little to no flash or studio photography so I prefer daylight where possible or streetlight etc.
