This studio is by far one of my favourites and it’s easy to see why!

Vic and Pete are super lovely and make everything run so smoothly and if there is ever any issue with lights they’re there like a shot! (Yes pun intended haha!) ive been to Belper a few times now and I think it’s safe to say I will keep returning until my limbs drop off and I can’t model... and even then I’ll still return because the atmosphere there is great and chilled and Vic and Pete are easily some of the nicest and most humble people I’ve been lucky to meet and work with in this industry. Firm friends for life, they’re stuck with me now!

If you haven’t been to Belper then why not?! Get yourself there! You’ll want for nothing while you’re there, there’s so many fabulous lighting options including natural light!

I have literally worked here four times in less than three months and it’s easy to say why! Vic and Pete are the nicest studio owners I’ve come across in a long while. Both so easy going, highly professional and put in just as much work as you do to promote your events. Beautiful studio to work out of with the ability to work with both studio and natural light. Assistance is always on hand for anyone who should need it and they make a killer brew! If you haven’t yet been to Belper then please do make sure you do, it’s one of my most visited studios for a reason. You will always be well looked after and catered for. Two fantastic creative minds own this place and they both equally know their stuff! Get booking you won’t be disappointed!

I adore this studio!

After having been booked to work there work a local photographer, I knew instantly that I wanted to hold a day there myself. It was a big success and the level of pre coms were second to none! Fabulous space with scope to shoot both studio and natural light. The owners themselves are both the friendliest you could ever wish to meet and both very helpful. My event was well published! I can’t wait to come back already! Belper will always be held in the highest in my heart. 💖 highly recommended and a must visit! X

I shot at the studio today with Arabella. The studio is a great place to shoot. Loads of different lighting and set ups, back drops etc, The owner was very friendly and could not do enough to help with lighting, making drinks, I really recommend this studio and look forward to shooting here again. Second time shooting here and although its a fairly long drive for me, I do like it. The owner is pleasant, helpful and always on hand to help with setups if needed. Good facilities and a nice space to work in.

Arabella held her art nude lighting workshop at Belper Studio and as it looked like a good deal I signed up. I'm glad I did.

Good facilities, more than enough space to shoot whatever you want to, plenty of lights and modifiers and a nice warm welcome when you go in. Its a 140 mile round trip for me but I'd definitely go again.

First time shoot at this studio; Arabella had arranged a lighting workshop. The studio is easy to find, large, full of lights and props. The studio owners were on hand to assist with lighting. Made to feel welcome to the studio. Tea and coffee provided.

This was my first visit to Belper Studio and I can safely say it will not be my last! Especially as it's a pretty short walk from me!

Comms were fabulous especially as I was unhelpfully changing things around!

But it was so easy to book in for a shoot!...

The space itself is brilliant, plenty of space to move around and move other things around, we didn't use the natural light but I would imagine there would be a lot of it!...

The studio facilities are brilliant, big backdrop rolls and plenty of lights with modifiers everything that I needed to shoot a variety of styles and looks.

I felt very relaxed like it was my own workspace which I loved!... The studio owners were very relaxed and also very helpful and never far away!... Tea and coffee facilities and a great space for the model to change and do make-up etc.

Highly recommended, worth the rate most definitely and I will certainly be back whether I'm shooting or playing the model!...

I hired and shoot at Belper studio just before Christmas, I had a great time working at the studio, the owners were very friendly and where always available to help and advise (if needed) without being intrusive, happy to just let you get on with it! A great array of lighting and modifiers are available along with an absolutely lovely space to work in.

I booke belper studio on the bounce at 8pm the night before . Comma were exceptional , I was met at the door by Mr Hurst .

Studio is spotless and very well equipped . If you are looking for a studio with cheesy sets this is not for you you ! If you are looking to create high quality properly lit images then get this place booked .

Currently being a newbie to photography I thought it was about time I started venturing out on my own as I had only ever been to tutored studios and group events. I decided to give Belper studio a trial as Victoria had emailed me via PurplePort in the past informing me it was local.

Getting a place to shoot on my own was a new experience so thought what better way than to ask if I could go to have a look at the place pre-hand. With that the Belper Studio with its relaxed welcoming attitude came across as the right place to start.

The studio space is a very wide and open to work with and has some good props available. Lots of lighting is provided and I’m yet to try out some LED constant lighting that they now have.

The Belper Studio team, especially Peter with his chatty and helpful conversations couldn’t be easier to deal with, with the team’s helpfulness and politeness at the session being outstanding. From the communication of booking to saying cheerio on the way out, it was a lovely experience to have.

Although just an initial trail shoot to see if I could manage it alone it allowed me to get some nice pictures and I look forward too many more shoots there. I will certainly be using Belper Studio on a regular basis as it’s a calm and relaxing space for me to hold a photography event.

Very good pricing and a mega recommendation from me all round.
