References for Obsidian Nights

Shooting outside in the middle of winter is a challenge for anyone. There is a special discipline that professional dancers have which belies their sometimes delicate stature.

When I met Obsidian Nights at just after 8am on the south bank, it was probably about 5 degrees and raining. This work ethic and determination meant that there wasn't a hint of reservation about going on with the shoot. It was hardly the weather for bare legs and a tutu yet she attacked it with conviction, offering a repertoire of leaps, high kicks and her wonderful flexibility and artistry.

She is a gentle and engaging person who will work with you to achieve your vision and you can't ask for more than that.

Very happy to have shot Indigo today. Indigo was very relaxed and came prepared with a shoot in mind. Some great boudoir style shoots and her flexibility was amazing. I will be putting a few shots up on my portfolio over the coming days. Would recommend her to fellow photographers. Thanks Indigo!

Had a wonderful shoot with IW yesterday and how wonderful it was. Her communication was great, arrived as agreed and with two cases full of clothes and accessories. Delightful to work with and her ballet background meant that she posed gracefully and effortlessly without any direction from me. Made my life very easy and got some great images that will be posted very soon. Had a very enjoyable afternoon that went on longer than planned as ideas kept coming to us. She stayed positive throughout and a very pleasant experience. Would welcome her back tomorrow.

I had the immense pleasure of working with Indigo Woman a few days back. She has the movement and grace that few will ever achieve. As is my style ... I threw many ideas at her and we both ended up loving the outcome. And that is pretty much what I want from a shoot ... a model that will allow me to 'fart about' getting the lighting to my liking and being in the moment when I'm ready to shoot. Loved our day. Had another excellent shoot with Cassia.D. With her we always managed to capture creative and beautiful images. Although it was getting a bit cold, but she was very professional and braved the weather. She has excellent communication and friendly, always happy to work with the photographer to capture the best shot. Reb is one of the best models I have had the pleasure of working with. I've used her quite a few times going back over a few years. She always turns up on time, doesn't let circumstances get in the way and has always been extremely well prepared. She works like a Trojan.

She has a glorious figure, great face and can do her own make-up well. A key strength is her ballet training which means she can move and pose with supreme elegance and has a complete mastery of acting for photos from demure to playful to elegant to vamp.
