Model turned Photographer - back to explore life on the other side of the lens.

During the pandemic, I developed a love of self portraiture. It passed the time but also meant I got to be the creative director and have all the fun of the edits too! 

I'm back on Purpleport now following some camera work training to get me off my Iphone, which was my lockdown support! And I'm looking for models who would be happy to work with a beginner photographer.

I need to polish up on genre lingo but I like images that are perhaps a little odd in someway. I love either a load of vibrancy of colour, or a striking black and white finish. I like to try convey some kind of thought or feeling in my work, be it sexy, evocative, suggestive, playful, dramatic, provocative or maybe just a bit silly. 

I have SO MANY ideas but for now, I just want to get started and give these new found skills a go, see where it leads.

Ideally i'm looking at working with people in/around Leeds, due to child related time constraints. However this is only for the time being. As I progress and as things take off (lets just say they will do!) it'll make more sense to go further afield for work.  :-)

I also prefer working indoors and using natural light, where possible. But I love a shadow play too so I have been experimenting with lights, if natural light is not your thing. 

I'll soon be updating my photos to include some of the work I've created since last logging on 3 years ago, so keep an eye out for that!
