I honestly love this woman to bits! A total legend and she is always sorely missed when she can't attend Howard's workshops/shoots due to being at work! She is part of the team and it's always nicer with her there, she is the mother of the group. Always looking after me and me ever dwindling tootsies!

Not only that but she always manages to sway in in between looking after the models and nail that perfect shot! With what seems to be no effort what so ever, and I always love the results :)

But even when I don't get to shoot with her I always get to catch up with her, I could natter to her for hours and not just because I can talk the back legs of a donkey, but because she is just damn good company! Always in a happy positive mood and just a generally warm hearted person :)

She comes very highly recommended by me and already looking forward to seeing her again in March!

I finally got to meet and briefly work with Karen during my tour of Scotland last week.

She was a wonderful host! I was welcomed into her and Howard's home and put at ease straight away- I got new coffee machine 'duty' ;) Hehe.

I only shot with Karen briefly in the evening but she was super to work with- directed me well but also let me pose freely. Her feedback was great and I can't wait to see the results.

I really enjoyed staying with Karen and Howard, they are really friendly and down to earth people. I can't wait to return one day and do it all over again! :) Thank you!

I've just recently returned from North of the border which included my second shoot with Karen... it was fantastic! Not only did we have the most cracking day up on Lochnagar shooting at the summit and various other gorgeous locations but Karen hosted me for much of my tour - the best hospitality and laughs/chinwagging on an evening combined in one. Couldn't have been a more epic visit to Scotland! :D

As always with location work, we had our fingers crossed for the weather but there was no need because it wasn't umbrellas we needed hiking up that mountain, it was sun cream! The day was gloriously beautiful, Tsavo the husky pup had a whale of a time too. :) We just kept churning out ideas while moving along and the images looked stunning after each review; everything fell perfectly into place and we even got a lovely afternoon of charity shop shopping done the day before to scout for goodies!

Karen is a true legend and an awesome photographer; she nails the killer shot on the head so effectively that it felt like we got more done in the day than was possible because she gets stuck right into framing up that golden moment so another gorgeous set bites the dust again and again. We were on a mega creative roll with the sheer variety, we even had each others backs when the midges came out; we're both high on the menu so at least we could share out the bites when they just about caught us!!

Highly professional, highly regarded and very highly recommended! :) I cannot give enough compliments to Karen as a photographer and a person, rock on the next time we work together!

I worked and stayed with Karen during a recent tour of Scotland. She rocks. :) We shot together during Photoclassic's Shooting Shapes workshop, where she had lots of ideas, let me do some bendy experiments and was upbeat even through a hayfever attack!

As a host she was great company and fascinating to talk to, taking me on walks, feeding me and pointing out wildlife- with an excited four-legged friend in tow! Highly, highly recommended and thankyou for everything. :)

Another lovely shoot with Karen this weekend!

I was seriously gutted when I learnt she would not be attending the nude on rocks workshop, which is ran by her husband (photoclassic), as it's really not the same without her and she really was missed!

So luckily for me I got to work with her for the full day the next day :D

She is such a hoot and I love spending time with her, she has a great eye for an image and despite her being in agony with broken toe (ouch!) still carried on without letting it affect the shoot - I mean talk about dedication to an image!!!

I'm already looking forward to next time!!

Karen is awesome! So much fun and a fantastic photographer :) Bloody awesome cook too!

I've attended various Photoclassic workshops with her, both as me modelling and as a photographer. I really enjoy Karen's company and she's a brilliant laugh too.

Karen not only has a wicked sense of humour, she is incredibly kind and professional too. Karen always puts model comfort and safety above anything else and ensures that we have hot soup available after chilly location shoots.

Yet another fantastic weekend spent with Karen on the Photoclassic workshop!

I honestly can't imagine the weekend without her - she is such a lovely person, so kind hearted, looks after everybody with her yummy food and is just such a joy to be around!

She always makes sure that she gets towels/hot soup and extra layers to the models as soon as we stop posing, all whilst managing to get some amazing images herself! A true multi-tasking, amazing woman :)

I am already massively looking forward to next time, not only to shoot with her but just to have a catch up and a natter :)

I would without a shadow of a doubt recommend her to anyone - you will get some super images and be very very well looked after!

Karen was a complete and utter star when I worked with her for the first (definitely not the last) time during the weekend on the PhotoClassic art nude workshop. We spent 3 fantastic days exploring locations that were truly out of this world and she was on duty at every last moment making certain that the models were tip-top and happy, her warm hearted approach will make any model feel totally comforted and very much cared for throughout the coldest and harshest times. From emerging from a freezing bog to climbing out of the steep loch banks - Karen was straight on the scene wrapping us up and bringing heat in a cup! :) I even stayed with Karen and Howard before and after the workshop only to receive the best and most entertaining hospitality I could have wished for.

It can be tricky to communicate direction when the model and photographer are such a distance apart with art nude poses in a larger frame but Karen is terrific with pre-visualising the shot and creatively sculpting before the models take position to benefit from the true might of a stunning location. With eyes like radars for opportunities, you can guarantee that pretty images will follow on every hike up the mountain, every scramble over rocks and every wade through mush.

I cannot begin to imagine how fun next Easter is going to be, we had so many laughs this time round and the whole weekend just flew by! I've only worked with Karen the once but gelled with her instantly and staying/shooting with her in the future is going to feel like visiting a long-term friend for the 100th time. A heart of gold with bags of talent in her photography, I cannot stress just how much I recommend Karen. The next time we shoot cannot come quick enough! :)

Ahhh Karen - what is there left to say!!

She is such a wonderful person who I have had the pleasure of knowing for a few years now! It's a total joy to be around her and her husband Howard, its a laugh a minute working with them and to top it all off she produces some absolutely stunning images that I'm really proud of :)

I really could not recommended her any higher if I tried as words just wouldn't cover it!

Fantastic person and is now a great friend too :)

Oh and to top it all off - she is an awesome cook too :D

This is the second time I've gotten the opportunity to work with the fantastic Karen!

I worked with Karen on one of Photoclassic' s lighting workshops. She is great fun and fantastic company to be in, already looking forward to the next time we work together!

Karen and Howard very kindly put me up for a few days during my stay in Aberdeen, and once again, made me feel totally at home - she also buys me butteries and chocolate which makes me very happy!

Karen did a great job helping out on my Film Noir workshop and she also appears to have taken some fantastic images from the day too. She has a wonderful artistic eye and as well as donkey work, she contributed some great ideas to help make the back story come to life for everyone.

Had the pleasure of working with Karen a few weeks ago during my Scottish tour! She is a really wonderful lady, exceptional sense of humour and really good fun to be with and work with!

She is highly considerate of a models needs (wrapping towels round me having gone into the rather chilly north sea!) and made me feel totally comfortable throughout the shoot! She and husband Howard were also very hospitable and very kindly offered me a place to stay for the night (they are very generous and nice people!) She is also a great professional, working well within a team of individuals and is able to grab beautiful and unique shots in a relatively short period of time, she experiments with different angles and ideas to great affect in her images!

It was really great to meet and work Karen, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her!

Another fantastic weekend spent with Karen and her husband Howard.

As usual during my stay with them I worked on one of Howard's workshops with Karen there helping out. They are uber organised and make a brilliant team! Not only making the workshop as productive as possible for the photographers booking on the day but also making sure the model isn't over worked and when working outside is well looked after.

I am always willing to push myself to my absolute max when I am with them (this time getting up at 2:30am and even taking a dip in the north sea in the early hours of the morning) simply because they are by far the most respectful people I have ever worked with on location. They look after you extremely well, make sure they have hot drinks/soup and towels etc for if you get too cold or wet, and every time I have worked with them it has been the most looked after I have been by a mile!

Not only this but they are just a joy to be around, I have such a laugh every time I see them! Such a happy, fun couple and I am hoping to not only work with them for a long time to come but also stay in touch once my modelling ends :)

WOW WOW WOW!! That's all I can say really....

I have just returned from the 3 day 'Nude in Landscape' workshop up in the hills of Scotland, nearly as far North as you can go :) It was an experience I will always remember!

Karen is one of the organisers of the workshop along with her husband Howard, I met them both the day prior to travelling to the location of the workshop and they are just such a genuine, nice couple. They are highly skilled and experienced in running workshops and the locations they take you to are breathtaking.

I am not usually one for being behind the camera but I just had to get some shots of the scenery. Even when I didn't have to pose in the landscape I wanted to because I just felt I should make worthwhile of the stunning backdrops.

Karen is a really down to earth lady, she is very chatty, fun and you instantly feel relaxed and comfortable with her. She has a real eye for an image in the work she produces, the results are amazing.

I was so well looked after on the workshop, and with early morning starts they ensured we didn't stay out in the cold too long, we had blankets, coats and hot soup :).

Such a well organised trip, everything ran perfectly and we couldn't have been luckier with the beautiful weather.

I highly recommend Karen and Howard on this workshop and I can't wait to work with them again.

I worked with Karen on a 3-day workshop in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland.

Karen is an awesome photographer and has the amazing ability to capture natural and stunning images.

Karen is fantastic to be around. I felt totally relaxed around her right from the moment I met her - and she has a great sense of humour too! There was certainly a lot of laughter throughout the trip. It was a truly wonderful weekend and will have many wonderful memories from this experience.

I have to start by saying Karen has such an eye for photography and locations and I literally fall in love with the images she captures!

I have now worked with Karen and Howard 3 times, this last time being a 3 day location workshop in which they looked after me and MadameBink throughout. Making sure we were comfortable and didn't suffer in the cold conditions.

As for working with them both - wow!

Amazing ideas, locations and such fun to work with. The results from working with them are always great, some of my favourite images to date!

They have also let me stay with them at their home in Aberdeen each time I visit to help me get bookings around the area whilst there working with them. They are very welcoming and helpful!

Overall great couple, and cracking photographers! I literally can't big them up enough. Without a doubt recommend them and I really can't wait to work with them in the future!

Had a great shoot with Karen today doing painted light out in the woods. was quite chilly but she took good care of me and made sure I was comfortable throughout the shoot. I was extremely happy with the pictures. Would absolutely recommend and hope I get to shoot again with Karen soon.
