Barefoot Images

I'm Martin, one half of the husband-and-wife team behind Barefoot Images.  We started trading, part-time, back in 2011 focusing on family portraits and weddings. We became full-time in 2012 when my wife, Jen, was made redundant, and took a break mid 2013 with the arrival of our first-born son.

We're now re-igniting the business, with a renewed focus on maternity-related shoots, though are looking to expand our portfolio to cover general beauty, fashion and glamour shots too.

We're both photographers and will normally both attend a shoot, taking turns behind our cameras to introduce some additional variety.  We both have slightly different styles, but collaborate well together to ultimately deliver a consistent set of images.  Our customers tell us that we are easy-going, and fun to work with, whilst still being utmost professionals.

We tend to work across South Wales, but are willing to travel for the right shoots.  We also have family in Warrington, giving us a base to work from for shoots in Mid/Northern England.

On a personal note, I have long been drawn to goth and alternative stylings and would welcome to opportunity to work with some like-minded models.  I'd also like to try shooting in alternative locations - abandoned buildings, and the like - and would welcome suggestions if anyone knows of any in the local area.
