References for Bad Karma Photography Studio

Another superb day shooting at this excellent studio space in Aberdeen. Being booked at Bad Karma Photography Studio by a local photographer and by Bill (Darkedge photography) one of the co owners of the studio and both shoots were extremely productive and fun. 😁🙏

Whilst I was shooting with the other booked photographer Bill was on hand to assist in any way with lighting, set ups, changing backdrops and he makes a fabulous brew.

The studio is very central and easy to get to, close to amenities and public transport. There is also available parking outside.

Fully equipped, clean, an excellent large and spacious dressing/ makeup room, toilet facilities and lots of different props etc plus they have some fabulous items to pose on and a large variety of backdrops.

A fabulous, fun, friendly, respectful and creative team at the studio and they will go out of their way to help each photographer achieve their desired results and provide a safe and fabulous shooting space for all.

Highly recommended to all creatives.

I have worked at bad karma now for over 2 years and it is one of my favourite studios to work from. Not only are the owners just outstanding photographers, nothing is ever too much. I’ve worked there as both a model and mua ( mostly as an mua) and never have I been made to feel unwelcome or asked too much. They are a wealth of knowledge and always willing to help. I have worked with mr KHP mostly so have the most experience with him and I can’t say a single bad word about him…… if you get chance to shoot with him DO IT. I’ve worked with darkedge ( bill) several times too and again the same goes always welcome and always a good banter and great company and yet again another fantastic photographer! I have not worked with Doug as yet but I have been there on a hire he’s taken and again same goes nothing is too much and always happy to help and chat away!!! These guys know how to run a studio and I would say it is up there with the best in the country! If you get chance to work with any of these guys at bad karma do it! ❤️❤️

It's true. Being one of the photographers that operate out of this studio space, we know how much it has to offer, in terms of equipment, advice & assistance.

KHP has shot countless published images here; from fashion features to magazine covers pet projects and even books. Now currently producing our third (plug plug).

Models, MUA's and hair stylists continue to compliment the space and equipment that is provided in the changing room & make-up stations.

There is also a well stocked fridge and a frequently replenished sweetie and biscuit tin.

Book a hire, or a place on the regularly run studio model days: you will NOT be disappointed.

I have been at this studio numerous times to shoot with both KHP and have two seperate model days hosted by the studio.

The space is excellent. It is very well equiped and such a pleasure to work from. There are lots of backdrops and set options, and the owners are always on hand for any assistance and lighting help.

For models - a very spacious changing room, mirrors, good lighting and plenty of comfortability to get ready.

The studio is one of the best I have been in and I highly recommend :)
