Beauty, Fashion, Landscape and Portrait
I find myself really enjoying the Old Hollywood / Vintage / Film Noir styles. And maybe one day I'll get it right :-)
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't... and therein lies the fun of learning to engineer the light. I am entirely studio based - I don't much care for natural light (and I like being warm and dry - and not far from a kettle). I like shoots that are a joint collaboration of ideas: I'll often have Pinterest boards sharing images with you, and I really enjoy it when models suggest changes to styling or expression - the resulting images are always so much better...
Obviously I expect to pay a model (& studio!) for their time as and when I can afford, and I hope to become better with practice.
I rarely do TFP - way too much pressure - but will frequently share images (more than happy to negotiate rates on that basis).
I prefer to pick and choose my tutorials and am *very* unlikely to attend a group shoot.
I think a lot of what I like to do is re-create as best possible the old look with modern equipment. As such there is and will be little in the way of nudity - there are some implied images by Hurrell and the like but I would usually approach a model to discuss a specific idea/s.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy having a look at my little bit of PP.
