Dave came back to me on my casting call for a group shoot with models wearing my handmade clothing. I jumped at the chance to get him modelling my wares as he has such a great unique look. We've worked together twice now and I find him a thoroughly easy person to get on with, very chilled, kind and a good laugh, a true gent. He poses effortlessly and has lots of presence about him. Hope we get to work together again!

I recently worked with Dave (aka BigDog) on a steampunk/goth clothing shoot at Annesley Old Church in Nottinghamshire.He was part of a 5 model team, and was so easy to work with.Dave brought along a few of his own props which added some detail to each shot.He really looked the part in his steampunk outfit.Great personality, rock steady poses, a fun but professional model on set.He also worked extremely well with all the other models, and contributed to a successful photoshoot.

BigDog is literally a larger than life wonderful costume drama expert. I met him on a group shoot and certainly was not disappointed. His costume was awesome and perfectly appropriate.

He engages with the photographer perfectly, and is excellent at suggestion slight tweaks to the shot you are trying to achieve which lifts the end product.

He was a great fellow to work with, easy going and a great sense of what shot you were after.

He has a great look and a lovely array of props that he's very comfortable posing with. The telescope on the walking stick is just brilliant.

I had the pleasure of working with Dave today at an event at Strelley Hall. Dave has a great and distinctive look and his hight gives him a towering presence. Combine that with his flare for cosplay and you have a model who is fantastic if you want to be creative with historical or steampunk themes. Highly recommended.

Dave is a very close and highly loved friend of mine - had a duo shoot with him for the first but not the last time.

Dave is a real gentleman, very calm, helpful, pleasure to work with.

He full of ideas and has several real cool outfit, poses brilliantly and following photographers ideas well.

I would recommend to all models and photographers to have a great experience and work with him, I will defo do it again in the near future. :)

Dave attended a photoshoot at my home studio where he worked tirelessly with two photographers, presenting some really expressive poses to their cameras. He brought a massive collection of outfits and props - too many to use for the duration of the shoot! Maybe next time.

Despite his superb classic and sometimes scary look, Dave is a thoroughly nice guy and great to work with; too bad I didn't get a shoot with him on this occasion but we are already in discussion about future shoots.

I had the pleasure of working with BigDog for the first time at a friends Studio..

Comms were good before during and after the shoot, Dave arrived with more outfits and props than you could shake a stick at, he worked hard without complaint.. Dave has so many different looks and facial expressions and when required can look quite menacing.

Brilliant model to work with and I look forward to our next shoot... I would recommend the BigDog to any photographer 110%

Dave responded to a casting call of mine at last minute due to the guy I was modelling with cancelling. Up to the day of the shoot Dave had great comms with me.

On the day of the shoot, Dave had great comms and turned up on time and was very prepared for our shoot.

He is a natural and it was so easy to work with him. We got some great images together.

I would highly recommend Dave and I would work with him again in a heartbeat.

Dave was a last minute addition to my shoot today when the original model dropped out. I found Dave easy to work with, he posed naturally and took direction well. He also contributed ideas to the shoot. His skills from re-enactment really came to the fore in a medieval shoot and his costumes were amazing. Highly recommended.

I decided on the spur of the moment to do a weekend photoshoot, and arranged to do this with Dave yesterday. It was so spontaneous that there was no room for much planning, but Dave was still fully prepared. Although I had no idea what look I wanted, flying by the seat of my pants, Dave was completely unperturbed, and came well armed with outfits and props and accessories.

The weather was rubbish. I took Dave trundling through a forest in muddy, slippy leaves and even "mislaid" the path at one point, but he met this with an unflappable calm and we did great. Dave worked well with me, striking some of his own poses, and also following my directions when I was after a certain look. Nothing was too much trouble.

On top of that, Dave was such a gentleman. He is chivalrous and kind and so comfortable to be with, that within the first 15 minutes, it was as easy as though we had been friends for 20 years.

Dave is very interested in trying different looks, and styles, and although our shoot was short due to weather, we will definitely be making a plan to work together again in the new year.
