Our 8th shoot together ( so Aurora tells me), and she just gets better. This time a studio shoot at new venue 244 Studio. We had a laugh throughout the shoot, managing several costume changes. Not only does Aurora bring many outfits and ideas but happily takes mine and helps develop them. Roll on Shoot 9!!

2 April 2022 - 244 Studio Shoot - Aurora Violet

We met again for what I can only describe as one of the best ( they are all so good ) 1-2-1 shoots yet. The Studio was excellent, and George the owner and host, treats you and model as his special guests, and made us totally welcome.

I won't detail the various costume changes, etc, and instead direct you to shoot results that will speak for themselves. Aurora is amazing, creative and professional, and as always proved totally adaptable to any situation and delivered the most outstanding results.

I shot at 3200 ISO and chose to switch off the studio lights. Instead I used a Rota LED light at half power instead - balanced to available ambient light. The results were amazing, and I found setup easy to use and later edit.

We completed at least six set/costume changes and as promised sent on to Aurora multiple original photo sets from the shoot for her own personal use.

Finally Aurora comes with my highest recommendation to all photographers, for you will get the most stunning lady to work with.

I did my 8th Shoot with Aurora last week in the small space of a car (taking Covid precautions) in the dark cold and snowy on and of night . A mad idea from the start. As always She was amazing professional & completely in the moment, taking direction when needed & using the simple props I had brought with me. No idea is impossible (Within reason for Her ). I can't recommend working with Aurora enough. It is always a fantastic photo Shoot.

I really enjoyed finally getting to do my 6th shoot with Aurora recently, following the numerous lockdowns and other restrictions. We met up in Edinburgh and, although we had to make a last minute change of plan, Aurora took it in her stride like the consummate professional that she is.

Pre-comms, as always were excellent and Aurora turned up on time and ready to go! Aurora is a beautiful and talented model - her portfolio is ample evidence of this. Easy to work with and happy to suggest her own ideas, Aurora is an absolute dream to work with, whether a photographer is very experienced or a total newbie.

It had been quite a while since I had last seen Aurora so we had quite a lot to chat and catch up on. Conversation flowed easily and the time passed all too quickly. Before I knew it, it was time to head back to the station for my train home.

I heartily recommend Aurora to any photographer. You will have a great shoot with a lovely, beautiful model and take away some amazing images. I have another shoot with Aurora in planning for the near future and I can't wait!

I had my first shoot with Aurora the other day and it won't be my last, what a lovely lady and a fantastic model. Aurora needs absolutely on direction she is extremely confident and comfortable with her body.

Which helps tremendously when working with someone for the first time, our two hours passed to quickly and I'm already looking forward to working with her again.

Third shoot with Aurora, this time I was welcomed to her home where we worked purely with natural light and lamplight in her lounge, creating a mixture of art nude, bodyscapes and erotic images. What can I say about Aurora that's not already been said. Very professional lady who is a delight to work with. Aurora has no issue with posing or direction and just knows what you are thinking. Highly recommended to all creatives. Looking forward to shoot number 4.

This was shoot number three with this beautiful human being (I should have had a reference up much sooner, apologies). Aurora is an absolute delight to work with and I still cannot believe I have been lucky enough to be booked alongside her three times now! Since starting modelling, I have followed her and been inspired by so much incredible work produced with her and other creatives. I still feel a little star struck in her presence!

Aurora is always very prepared for shoots, between make-up and hair, to outfits being well thought out and posing ideas saved for inspiration on mood-boards. She poses absolutely effortlessly even without a mood-board and just amazes me with her flow and ease of one pose to the next.

I would recommend to all level of photographer, if you have n idea in mind or need an experienced model who can work the camera with ease, she is your woman!

I highly enjoyed each shoot we have done and feel like I have learned so much watching this gorgeous lady do her thing. I hope we work together again soon :)

What can I say that I haven't said before? Yet again, I had a very successful shoot with the fantastic Aurora Violet. (our 12th) 😁

Having worked with each other so many times, it seems that Aurora has got into my head and instinctively knows the poses and styles that I want to achieve, also making some very good suggestions along the way.

This was a very pleasant few hours, spent in the company of this charming lady. I'm pleased with the results and hopefully will be shooting again during the Spring.

I have no hesitation in recommending Aurora to all.

I received a casting call that Aurora was going to visit Glasgow, so I decided to do a shoot with her. The pre shoot comms were first rate.

During the shoot Aurora was fabulous, she was open to my ideas and she had her own suggestions for the shoot. She had brought with her a large suitcase full of clothes and props.

I took some very good pictures of Aurora and I am very pleased with them.

Throughout the shoot Aurora was bright and enthusiastic and I would certainly photograph her again.

If you are looking for a model to photograph then I thoroughly recommend Aurora... you will not be disappointed.

This was my 1st pro shoot in 8 years, so naturally I was feeling quite nervous prior. Aurora welcomed myslef & Michelle with a friendly smile into the venue, and during the intro and setting the gear up we vere all at ease.

Aurora brought plenty of changes & specific items to suit our requirements. She was very cool, confident & let the poses flow very smoothly without needing to take much direction.

I enjoyed the shoot very much, it has instilled much more confidence in me that I'm actually wanting to do another shoot ASAP. I'd recommend Aurora as a seasoned pro and all-round nice person and would have no hesitation in booking her services again.

What better way to start the photographic year than with a shoot with Aurora_violet?

As always, pre-shoot communication was first class, although to be fair, we sort of cheated as the theme was more of a development of our last shoot.

Needless to say that all the props/wardrobe for the day's shoot was ready and waiting as well as the customary hot beverage!

The shoot itself went like clockwork, Aurora was able to breath life into a simple costume with a creative flair and character that resulted in a series of stand-out images.

I am very much looking forward to our next few projects.

For fear of sounding like a broken record... but Aurora comes highly recommended. For all you photographers out there in PP land, Aurora will take your ideas and help you make them a reality.

A definite eleven out of ten!!

I had an amazing shoot with Aurora, at her gorgeous wee home studio, with photographer Honeyman - despite it being last minute, felt so relaxed and there was lots of conversation before and during, coffee, ideas discussed. First, we started with an edgy monochrome semi nude duo outside with a pretty much of flowers, then went onto lingerie and fashion duos & solos indoors, created some abstract shapes in a big white box (which was kindly held up by Auroras partner - thanks man!), made some erotic art with jewellery, blindfolds and gloves, and I ended up as a human vase for the last set. What a shoot!

Aurora is a lovely being, friendly, accommodating, artistic, an amazing model, and wonderful company. Would HIGHLY recommend to all photographers, creatives and other models.

Very happy to have completed a shoot with Aurora this afternoon. The 3 hours flew in.

Communication leading up to the shoot was excellent, and she turned up at the venue I'd booked with a suitcase full of outfits and ideas that fit the direction I had planned very well.

I spent a long time getting lighting set up, testing and retesting shots and messing about and Aurora was so patient through all of that, which I really appreciated.

Her modelling was great. She knows how to do this.

Additionally, I found her really easy to get along with and a good conversatonalist.

I hope to work with her again.

Had my second shoot with Aurora today, this time at Crieff Location House. Aurora is a joy to work with, works very hard a just seems to know what you are trying to achieve from the shoot. A highly experienced model, Aurora needs no direction but is happy to try any suggestions you may have. Very easy lady to talk to and always makes you feel at ease. No hesitation in recommending Aurora to all creatives. Looking forward to our next shoot.

4 December - 1 to 1 Shoot indoors at House in Crieff.

The spec for shoot was to shoot a particular dress within our normal freestyle approach to pose and modelling on the day. I provided the studio lighting requirement needed.

The pictures of the venue were posted in advance by Aurora, proving perfect for a Pink Dress she owns, and was the main purpose for the shoot, and the results are totally amazing. Aurora is dedicated to what she does, and went to some detail in preparation, and she looked totally amazing on the day. Thank you Aurora.

We also made time to shoot in the amazing Red and Purple bedroom that produced staggering results too, and absolutely love the way Aurora worked with at the Bronze Mirror that I brought along for her to play with. The storyline was subtle and creative and allows me plenty of material for further processing at home.

I do not only talk and write about our shoots, I also produce a full catalogue of content in pictures after to support models I work with too, I will also promote where possible. I am also mindful of PurplePort that has worked extremely hard in getting us all together, and support other creatives too.

We both work well together, and normally discus the shoot over coffee for the first 20 or so minutes while I set up, and adjust equipment. I have now shot with Aurora more than most, and do have a tremendous respect for her, and she comes with my highest recommendation.

Aurora ... until we shoot again I wish both Stuart and you all the very best now and over the Festive Period.

Just can't stop shooting with this lovely lady. This time at Crieff Location House, a delightful venue for all sorts of looks and backgrounds. Aurora was happy to wear a couple of costumes I brought, and she looked incredible in her own. As usual we collaborated on each setup with us both bouncing ideas off each other. Roll on our next one!! ?

It's taken 3 years, but I eventually managed to arrange another duo shoot with the fantastic Aurora Violet, this time shooting with the dynamic Irongem.

This pair got on like a house on fire, having a bucket of water handy wouldn't have gone amiss 😁

Aurora was all made up when I collected her, along with a plethora of outfits squeezed into two cases. Plenty to choose from, but never enough time.

Aurora brings a vast amount of experience and knowledge to a shoot, having an understanding of what you want to achieve without having to give too much direction.

The shoot went far too fast, always a sign that everything has went well. Just need to organise another.

Highly recommend Aurora Violet to any photographer. You are guaranteed a great shoot with plenty of laughs and priceless images.

After which seems a lifetime of trying to arrange a shoot with this highly professional model it finally came to pass, and dont know who was the most excited.. me for eventually getting to work with her or herself for seeing the options within my prop collection that were there for her to choose. The outcome was a bit of a departure for her but from the facial expressions that were captured in the images it was obvious she was enjoying getting into these characters... if we are ever going to do the ideas we came up with we will need a weeks block booking, but looking forward to our next to start with... I dont need to say how good she was and how friendly she is ..that's who Aurora Violet is.... but will throw in a very creative photogenic model incase you somehow never noticed...till the next shoot

It's always a joy to catch up with the super sweet Aurora! 😊 I don't do many duo shoots these days - but it's a real pleasure when I come up to Scotland and we can make a gap in my travels work for some fun creative double-trouble shooting. 😁 In fact - this time we did it twice on my same tour - once with the lovely Rigel Of Stardust Made at Aurora's lovely cottage location (a splendid place to work, especially for the grounds and nearby locations!) And then also working with the awesome Honeyman at his fabulous location just out of Glasgow. I honestly couldn't believe that; what started as a trip I thought I was going to have to cut short and maybe stay in Edinburgh (my doing due to a lot of hectic happenings and lack of time to plan) turned into a full-blown tour with two very different shooting opportunities alongside this lovely lady! It couldn't have turned out better - and like we have done in the past; we gelled instantly and worked amazingly together on both shoots. ❤

Everyone in the circuit in Scotland knows Aurora and has good things to say about her. 😃 Whenever we do some modelling together: you can bet that all my shoots thereafter people will be mentioning the shots we did together and giving their praise/expressing an interest in shooting us at a later date. One day - we will plan something ahead of time/with plenty of notice (like the first time we modelled together actually!) and have a proper chilled day where we're not messaging/planning it whilst I'm on the road still hehe! Although; even our shoots this time were total proof that we can be put together even last minute and really work as a great duo/working well with the photographers who book us. 🤗

Both shoots we did this time had totally different qualities: shoot one was creative and stylised... We struck gold with gorgeous winter light through Aurora's windows, and had a bash at some fun seasonal bodyscapes. The biggest regret was running out of time so fast - just where did those two hours go? I still really love the unique images we managed though, and our photographer gave lovely feedback too. 🤩 Then on the second shoot later on my tour -we switched up the vibe completely! Think edgy/sensual/alluring black and white images with class and suggestion. the ideas flowed brilliantly and we had a lot of fun creating story-telling moments that spoke a lot with the mood and great atmosphere in the location. I don't think both shoots we were booked for could be more different if we tried to be honest - but I think this confirms how nice it is working with Aurora as a versatile model. She's very accommodating for photographers, and works so well with others across a whole range of briefs. :)

productivity to one side: this model has a heart of gold! After the shoot at her place - Aurora and her partner offered me dinner before I hit the road again. The general hospitality and willingness to accommodate/ensure everyone who visits has everything they need is just smashing. 🌟 Aurora has such a can-do attitude professionally, nothing is too much trouble and she really does strive to see all people she works with walk away happy. It's really nice to see someone so committed to their work and people-service to be fair. 🙂 Her communications are always great as well - so even though we were planning half of this as I was travelling and then shooting - we nailed everything off to a tee and fixed everything up in no time!

If you haven't already shot with Aurora - do! Fabulous model and person. Always a delight to work with her. 😊

15 November - Duo Shoot with Aurora Violet & Keira Lavelle.

Another amazing shoot with Aurora who I have worked with extensively over the las few years and loved every moment.

Aurora and Keira who I had a duo shoot previously are well matched and again were outstanding. Both models shooting freestyle settled on on themes focused on the use of LED lighting and ambient daylight bounced off reflectors. I was in particular impressed with the LED in blue and red Fine Art composition, and an area I will invest in future.

As always I offer my highest recommendation - and Aurora I look forward to our up coming shoot early December.
