Red haired women were throughout history persecuted for the suspicion of practising Witchcraft. Countless were tortured and killed by Christian Puritans all across the globe.

Luckily, I live in a time and place where I can be the utmost of my Gothic Witchy Vampiric self but the events of this year have surely highlighted how some women are still fighting and giving their lives for such basic freedoms.

The freedom to do something as simple as show your hair, to going to school, to receiving medical care, to fighting back against domestic violence, rape, assault and every form of misogyny and persecution.

And so I'm dedicating this post to all the women past and present just trying to live their lives freely, beautifully and individually.

Some of us are luckier in our surroundings, but we all face the same attitudes and dangers for simply being who and what we are but know that you are not alone ❤

Don't ever let anyone stop you from being your fully fledged unique and wonderful self 🥀
