References for A Shot in the Dark

Having seen her portfolio of gorgeous images ranging from gothic to bright and colourful, and having been told good things about her by other models, I was very excited to work with Kim.

And boy, was I not disappointed! As a photographer she is very knowledgable and got the feel of our shoot very quickly. She gave me direction or help where needed but also allowed me to put my own ideas in, ask questions, try new things and experiment. It was so nice to feel supported but also have my own voice too.

As a person she made me laugh so much and I felt so relaxed. She was kind and friendly and just really cool.

I can't wait for our next shoot, I'm so stoked to work with her again.

I would recommend her 100% to anyone who wants an amazing, badass photographer!

i worked with Kim at a group shoot with my modelling agency. and i loved working with kim was easy to work with made me feel at ease straight away so much so she got a great photo of me smiling. she had a whole suitcase full of amazing fabric to work with if you get the chance to work with her please do it you won't regret it! can't wait to work with her again.

Jem Corsets

Kim borrowed a corset from me for a boudoir style photoshoot that she had arranged. Communications were great and I felt confident sending a piece out to her.

I received beautiful pictures back very quickly and my corset was returned very quickly too and in perfect condition.

I wouldn't hesitate to work with her again :)

Had the best shoot with Kimberley recently. She made me feel so welcome and comfortable and gave great direction while letting me experiment too. We had great pre-shoot communication and knew what we wanted to get out of it on the day. I was very well taken care of with a private space to change between lingerie sets and she even gave me a robe to keep warm! She is super easy to get along with, has great creative flair and we got some fantastic images. I can't wait to work with Kimberley again and would HIGHLY recommend her to others!

Where do I begin?

I FINALLY got to work with Kim after months of having her on my want to work list. She was even better than I expected (which I didn't know could be topped). Amazingly friendly and welcoming, along with being super chatty (like myself) and fabulous company!

When it came to shooting, she definitely knows her stuff. She was able to give a helping hand with direction, and was quickly able to find my best angles! I loved near enough all the back of the camera images, except for the ones where I kept blinking... ooops :P

I will certainly be shooting with this amazing, beautiful woman again. Hands down the most fun I've ever had on a shoot, and I cannot recommend her enough!

P.S. She has cute rabbits and rats who melted my heart! ♥

She's a fantastic photographer and a wonderful person with head full of ideas and house full of art, props and animals! ♥ which is great. Today I worked with Kimberley, we did a vintage boudoir shoot and I have to say she was amazing! every image I have received has been to a very high standard! I love each and every photo she has taken. She is really easy to get along with and I definitely felt very comfortable working around her. I would definitely recommend working with her. In fact you would be extremely lucky if you get a chance to work with her because she is a very talented photographer and I very much look forward to working with her in the future! :)

I have shot with Kimberley twice both on location and in a studio setting. Absolutely fabulous photographer. I had so much fun on both shoots, it was great to be able to bounce ideas off of each other. I would highly recommend A Shot in the Dark to anyone, Kimberley is great at giving direction and also has such a wonderful collection of props and creative lighting. We hit it off straight away and I felt immediately relaxed on both shoots. We got some great shots together and the turn around for images was speedy.

We have already booked TWO more shoots together. I am excited to work together again, keep being awesome!

Kim was the person who first ever got me started in the whole photo shoot scene she was so excited to work with me and as i was to work with her. she opened my eyes to a new world and a lot more fun and adventure, on our shoot she guided me every step of the way, knowing i was nervous she helped calm me down and eased me into things and made sure that i was comfortable with everything what was going on. i 100% recommend her she really is truly amazing

Recently had my second shoot with Kimberley and I have to stay it was utterly fantastic!! She is an amazing photographer, I use many of the pictures we created in my portfolio.

Kimberley has her own style in photo editing, it is guaranteed you end up with something new after you shoot with her. I would highly recommend her to any new or experienced model, as she is very friendly, easy to work with and an absolutely fantastic photographer :3 A*

She has her own unique style which sets her apart from your everyday photographer.

She gives gentle direction on posing and is willing to get into poses herself to give examples.

I have countless amazing images from her that are used in my portfolio.
