References for Ash Hynes

I have been an admirer of Ash's work for some time now, but have never contacted as I mistakenly thought that a retoucher of that high calibre would not be looking at my somewhat limited work, however the road to success is often beset by adversity.....and so it proved, after an initial chat here with Ash about ideas for a heavily MUA influenced shoot I had planned, the MUA never showed up which in turn led to me having to send Ash a few trial images...what a result!!

Ash and his work are of the highest quality, I personally don't go for over flattened skin etc, prefer the improved, but natural look, and I was blown away by the quality of the images returned. We did a tester of three images, and the final one especially, hit the sweetest of spots, both classy and classically beautiful work from Ash.

I have another shoot booking as I'm writing, if the MUA turns up, I feel Ash will have added a totally new dimension to what I can achieve in a final, polished result, as Ash says, sometimes retouching experts are wrongly not given enough credit in their work, and that is true, but then very few are of the standard of Ash.....who would be a valuable addition to any photographer competent with lighting etc, but looking for that little extra. Looking forward to doing much, much more work with Ash!!

I am personally not very skilled in the editing arena, and contacted Ash regarding a couple of images I was very fond of but felt could be improved by some manipulation.

Shared my thought on the images with Ash and let him have them to assess. He gave me an honest and forthright opinion of the images and what could and could not be done to improve them. Having accepted his recommendations I gave him the go-ahead and left the job with him.

The work was done in a very short period of time and returned within a few days, the results are excellent and I am more than pleased with the resulting image. The price paid was very reasonable considering the time and effort he must have committed to the project.

I would highly recommend him to others, and will no doubt be calling upon him again.
