Body Paint, Cosplay, Dance, Landscape and Portrait
I use many elements in my artwork: photographs I take, poetry I write, oil paint, textiles, glass, beads, and found objects.
My work has focused on the natural world as space without human beings. I am moving forward in conceptualizing humans (deities, angelic beings, fae) occupying natural spaces, and integrating these new images into my work.
Currently, I am working on five new collage pieces, four of which will include stylized ‘selfies’.
I am interested in creating pieces which include people of varying ages, shapes, and sizes. I find beauty radiates from inside people rather than fitting an external or commercial standard. Since my works play with perceptions of space and time, size is immaterial. Or perhaps, size is relative.
