References for Artista Studio

I shot at Artista on Rosa Brighid's model day. Alex was approachable and helpful in booking the shoot but this was just a taster of the experience to come on the day.

I had a great chat with Alex as he showed me around about what I was hoping to do and he was extremely helpful in making suggestions, showing me things he'd done in a similar vein for his port and rearranging furniture and setting up lights. It was a really relaxed shoot and it was great that myself, Rosa and Alex could bounce ideas around plus chat and joke during the shoot. I think I got double value as he spent a fair amount of the time altering the lights or helping with the odd pointer which was so useful for me as a newer photographer.

The studio at first glance can seem small but it has a great number of options with basement normally used for events which has a bit of a bar vibe to it, old stairways which I didn't get around to using but will at some point plus the studio room which has a great white wall, window seat with lovely light and a dressing table with mirror as well as a few other bits like larger mirrors and coloured backdrops we could use, and there's always the beach just down the hill (pebble unfortunately) but theres a better one not to far away by car apparently.

I had an awesome afternoon with Alex and Rosa plus came away with some great new pictures for my port. I'll definitely be keeping track of future model days or workshops there plus considering it for shoots of my own.

I had a great studio day at Artista Studio recently! I love the whole vibe of Alex's studio, and Alex is very cool as well. It has multiple rooms, each with a different look. The features of the studio have lots of character and the day was extremely relaxing and welcoming, it's well equipped and somewhere I'd love to come back and visit soon! Thanks for a great day Alex, you're awesome :-) Artista is the place to be.

I had a shoot with Elle Beth here at the weekend and it all went well. Chris was helpful when he was needed and stepped back so we could get on with the shoot the rest of the time. A nice little studio that I would be most happy to work in again.

I had one of my studio days at this fabulous studio! I love the space such beautiful textures, props, furniture & the lighting equipment is excellent.

Chris the studio owner really helped with my day and also have great tuition to the photographers that asked for guidance. I really recommend this Studio.

I must mention the floor its amazing, its like polished stone, so perfect for art nudes and has gorgeous colouring.

A fantastic studio run by chris and Alex, their workshops are outstanding with excellent advice on everything from posing to lighting and interaction with the model, who are always brilliant btw. The studio has a good selection of lights and modifiers, with a great range of backgrounds and props for a great price. Highly recommended!

I attended a workshop at Artista Studio (latex & lingerie), excellent advice from Chris who covered lighting and interaction with the model. The studio space is top notch with plenty of scope for creative lighting. Well worth the price.
